Check Out Arianna Fleischman’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Arianna Fleischman.

Hi Arianna, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
Hi! My name is Arianna Fleischman, and I am a local Orlando Model, Dancer, Actress, and Illusionist assistant to Randy Whelmarc. I have been involved in the arts scene since I was 4 years old when I started dancing and pursuing a professional career in the art form, specializing in Ballet and Contemporary. That career took me all across the country, and while I enjoyed it immensely, I ultimately decided to turn it into a part-time profession, after facing much discrimination due to my height and slight frame.

As an Actress, Model, and Illusionist assistant. I was approached on Instagram a few times by many photographers wanting to add dance shots to their portfolios. Turns out, I kind of had a knack for being in front of a camera. After a few shots, I decided to start adding on fashion modeling shots and realized that I could turn this into something of a career. I proceeded to apply to my first agency, Professionally Pretty. I signed with them and have been booking different commercials and shoots through them, as well as on my own. I am starting to explore acting as well, getting involved with some local short films and commercials.

Acting also ties into my job with Magic and Models, Randy Whelmarc’s upcoming illusion live show, and eventually, tv series. That also draws into my modeling talent as well, as my character, Christi Parfait, is a model. I am very much a person that likes to dabble in everything I can, always expanding my horizons and learning new skills. I am also a huge advocate for petite model representation, as I find that we are very underrepresented in the industry, specifically in the high fashion market.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been without struggle, although I want to thank my parents, friends, and mentors, especially the ones I have found here in Orlando, that have been a constant support in this journey. I have faced a lot of struggles in different areas of my life, and it’s an ever-evolving process to keep myself from falling into different pitfalls.

I have faced discrimination mainly due to my height, specifically in dance and modeling. I am 5’0 tall (tiny but mighty), and quite a slight build on top of that, so I look even smaller than most others that height. I have always been drawn to things that people told me I wasn’t made to do and have always been one to try and challenge people’s perceptions of why we believe what we believe.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a Professional Model, Dancer, Actress, and Illusionist assistant. I specialize in Fashion, Beauty, and Dance Print Modeling. I am also Dabbling in Runway Modeling and Acting. I am most proud of myself for deciding to switch careers at the age of 22, as that was such a hard decision, but was necessary for my mental and physical well-being.

I am a very versatile person, both in my modeling and dance, and I am constantly working to evolve and better myself and be able to pull off as many different looks and styles as I can. I am also an extremely hard worker, and very dedicated to every craft, project, and endeavor that I am involved in.

I would like to thank Randy Whelmarc for recommending me for this interview

How do you define success?
I define success as achieving what I set out to do and being proud of both the results and the process.

My end goal is to become a famous model and to land a large beauty campaign, as well as work for some of the world’s top brands. And to gain recognition as someone who broke barriers.
