Hi Ariel, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
In 2004 we started working in the construction industry at Magic Drywall. After going through various training and learning processes, we created our own company in 2005. We were initially working only in the field of drywall (punch out, hanging, finish, and texture). After two tough years (2008 and 2009) in which the construction industry was almost completely paralyzed and, with it, the country’s economy, we decided to diversify a little bit the portfolio of services provided; we gradually began to introduce other types of work, such as remodeling and renovation of residential and commercial properties. With this, new fields of work came to Arijatos, such as:
- Demolition
- Metal frame and wood frame
- Installation of floors (tile, laminate, etc.)
- Carpentry services (installation of cabinets, doors, baseboard, wood design, etc.)
- Wallpaper
- Painting (interior and exterior)
- Stucco
Today our portfolio of services is complemented by a group of professionals who support us when the work requires a license to comply with established standards, such as GC, Plumbers, Electricians, and Air conditioning.
Would it have been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of our biggest obstacles has been the need for more capital to leverage ourselves in larger projects. And in terms of challenges, it is maintaining the quality of work in the different places where we have worked, inside and outside Florida.

Today our portfolio of services is directed 75% to the residential area and 25% to the commercial area; Likewise, 60% of our projects are carried out in remodeling and renovations, and the remaining 40% in new construction and repairs in different fields. We are known for the quality and compliance of our services, which is confirmed by the number of positive reviews given to our customers.

Yes, I take risks eventually, especially to move the company forward. This must be measured carefully because if its consequences are not calculated, all the efforts to carry out a project and the company’s continuity can be preserved.
