Today we’d like to introduce you to Joncarlo & Giovanny Medina-Bauzo.
Hi Joncarlo & Giovanny, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Giovanny has an extensive event planning and decorating background with over 7 years of experience serving all of Florida. As a little boy, Gio always had a balloon in his hand to decorate. He has decorated for multiple celebrities, businesses, and hundreds of families. Joncarlo has a background in business and property management. He is managing a multi-million dollar asset in Central Fl. Combining both skills, we created the beautiful Infinity Ballroom. Our ultimate goal when opening up our business as minorities was to create a luxe event venue at an affordable price where families of all kinds can create memories that last forever.
It wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Our biggest challenge was choosing to leap of faith and move forward with our dream. We were scared and had lots of what-ifs, but then all of those doubts turned into comfort, and that comfort turned into present reality. We drew out a plan, and thankfully, with the support of our family, especially Jay’s dad, Freddy, who was able to renovate everything within a week before our grand opening. We had some setbacks with the flooring and installing our lighting, but overall, we overcame every obstacle.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. What can you tell our readers who might need to be more familiar with what you do?
We create masterpieces. Infinity Ballroom creates custom-made luxury decor collections for our clients. Our venue is known for its beautifully draped high 29-foot ceilings, stunning chandeliers, and Gio’s decor. We specialize in balloon decor, floral decor, and events. Our unique touch in decor and 5-star customer service sets us apart from the rest.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting?
Never give up. Always chase your dream; if no one else believes in you, you believe in yourself! Write down your plan, and continue trying until you reach your dream and goal. Opening a venue is very rewarding. Being part of such intimate moments and providing the space for these memories to be made is a great feeling.
