Today we’d like to introduce you to Yaritza Denizac.

Yaritza Denizac

Hi Yaritza; it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for sharing your story with us – To start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
Ever since I can remember, I wanted to have my own children’s store. But with life’s twists and turns, that dream seemed almost impossible. I got married, raised two beautiful girls, and was working in the healthcare industry in a pharmaceutical company. 13 years after having my last child, I got pregnant. A few months later, we were hit with the Covid pandemic. I was hospitalized, was very sick, and had an emergency c-section shortly after to deliver my 25-week micro-preemie. My baby girl was born 15 weeks early, weighing 1.9 lbs. My baby stayed in the NICU for 100 days through all this ordeal and many complications. I won’t go into so many painful details, but we almost lost our baby, Julia Grace, several times.

Over and over, I repeated from the Bible Matthew 17:20. “ If you have faith like a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain move, and it will move because nothing will be impossible for you. After my baby got home, working a regular job with so many doctor appointments and taking care of my girls became almost impossible. Then, one day, my dream of opening my store was back in my mind. I recall the Bible verse that kept me going during this difficult time; to make a long story short, my dream became a reality when I opened my online children’s ’ clothing store, and a year after that, I opened my brick-and-mortar store. “Mustard Seed Baby Boutique.“ You can make your dreams a reality with hard work, love of family, trials, tribulations, and, most of all, faith. Today, I dedicate my business to my three daughters, who inspire me to move forward and be successful.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Yes, there have been obstacles! And I’m glad the road hasn’t been smooth. Rocky roads build character and provide you with experience. One of those obstacles was dealing with the permitting department and all the rules and regulations imposed by the government to make the road more difficult. But success is built on perseverance.

We’ve been impressed with Mustard Seed Baby Boutique, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share about what you do and what sets you apart?
We specialize in quality children’s clothing, including ages preemie through age 10. We carry the best brands: Mud Pie, Pete & Lucy, Mila and Rose, and Kate Quinn, among other quality brands.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was ( still am) creative and was involved in sports and dance. I was a free spirit! I loved music and fashion.
