Hi Tiantian, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, you could tell our readers some of your backstory.
My name is Tian, and I have spent the last 10 years in luxury retail in the Las Vegas and Miami markets, working for world-class fashion brands such as Dolce & Gabbana and Christian Dior. Earlier this year, my longtime friend and current owner/CEO invited me to get on board for his newest hospitality/culinary project – Debonair Supper Cub, a modern-day art-centric culinary immersive experience in downtown Orlando. I moved to Orlando at the end of July this year and have loved my time here since then with the viberant culture and welcoming community.
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
After living in Las Vegas and Miami for the last decade, moving to Orlando has been an adjustment. There is a different pace to life, and along with that is a different set of expectations. I am still adjusting to the new lifestyle city and meeting new friends. However, I am beyond thrilled for the new opportunities and new environment that will help me further expand myself as an individual as well as a professional.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am the Director of VIP Service for Debonair Supper Club and oversee front-of-the-house operation for our business. I am most proud of my agility, transitioning from luxury goods into hospitality at this stage of my career, utilizing my transferable skill sets to maximize business in this new industry. I have an extremely dynamic and colorful background, full of life stories. And I so much look forward to presenting Debonair Supper Club to the city of beautiful, along side with my team/family.
