Today we’d like to introduce you to Magali Mazzieri.
Hi Magali, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for sharing your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I’m Argentinean. Since he was young, he wanted to live the experience of working and living in the United States and take advantage of that experience to learn to speak English. Last year, my husband and I decided to consider this possibility more seriously, and here we are! We acquired an Astrawatt Solar Franchise, and we are delighted to be in this important and necessary solar industry worldwide and in a country that allows everyone who makes an effort to progress.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Nothing calm, quite the opposite. It is an industry that is booming. Many actors are competing, and there is also a lot of misinformation. Customers are confused and overwhelmed by the broad offering. You have to understand the importance of generating your energy and then come to the benefits it gives us. In short, it is not easy at all; I didn’t expect it to be either.
As you know, we’re big fans of Astrawatt Solar-Orlando. What can you tell our readers who might need to be more familiar with the brand?
Astrawatt Solar Orlando is a Lake, Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties franchise. The mission is to provide better solar experiences and to achieve this, the important thing is to provide the information that the customer needs to make the right decision. I chose Astrawatt Solar because their purpose is not just commercial; they have a social and environmental commitment, and for me, it was key to defining my investment in purchasing the franchise. It is important to share values and feel that personal goals are aligned with work goals. That gives more meaning to your life. I have a son and nephews, and I am committed to them and future generations to contribute by participating in the Solar Industry.
What were you like growing up?
Hahaha, super naughty, outgoing, and happy. I also remember that when I was little, I thought about the planet, and I was afraid of the “end of the world,” so I began to contribute by keeping my little piece of paper in my pocket and scolding people when I saw them throw it away “little piece of paper” to the street. It is super romantic, and to this day, the lack of common sense and hypocrisy bothers me a lot. Over time, to not hurt myself, I chose not to row against the current and do what I could from my place. You have to start somewhere, and an example is the first step.
