Life & Work with Andrew Gonzalez of Brevard County, Orange County, Seminole County and Kissimmee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Gonzalez.

Andrew Gonzalez

Hi Andrew, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Our culinary adventure began with a unique twist, hence the”name “SLOBONACOB.” We specialize in corn- on the cob, in the cup, and fried options- some sweet, some spicy, it’s pricey: Corn! We transform filing cabinets into smokers, infusing our roasted street-style corn creations with a one-of-a-kind flavor. We take pride in our corn, ensuring we use good-quality, local, fresh corn picked up daily before any event.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Of course, every business in the beginning will be a roller coaster; there are good and bad days. Luckily, we are blessed to have such support to keep us.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
We are corn, and no one does corn like we do 🌽 No one has the flavors, styles, and uniqueness of it all.

Before we go, how can people work with you, collaborate with you, or support you?
The great thing about our business is that we sell only corn. Collaborating with other food trucks is easy because we don’t sell what they sell, and it benefits both. The support we have been getting has been tremendous. Everybody loves corn.
