We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has most definitely NOT been a smooth road. I got started as a professional dancer “late in the game” by industry standards. I had no idea the dance industry even existed until I was a sophomore in college! In hindsight, I realize that while attending college, I missed out on a lot of opportunities to further my dance career. Also, I would say the financial struggle has been my biggest combat. Over the years, I had been let go from several “9 to 5” jobs due to pursuing my dance career. Almost being homeless at a time was another struggle that really had a negative impact on me. Ask any professional dancer and they’ll tell you… Choosing this life isn’t easy whatsoever. I’ve definitely had my ups and downs… and some of the downs were definitely deep.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a dancer/choreographer, singer and actor. A triple threat, if you will. Most people know me as a dancer. Fewer know that I can sing, and even fewer know that I’m an actor, haha. I’m honestly very proud of my accomplishments across the board. Performing in Super Bowl LV while dancing with pop artist, The Weeknd is the most recent accomplishment I’ve extremely proud of!

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I’ve learned thus far along my journey is to remain consistent! If you love what you do, you must remain consistent if you are to make anything of it. I’ve been told by multiple people that they admire my consistency and determination since I’ve been doing this so long… and I take pride in that.
