Today we’d like to introduce you to Tara Barone.
Hi Tara, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I began my career as a Registered Nurse in 2001 when I worked at Orlando Health in the Intensive Care Unit. The ICU was an incredible foundation for my career and gave me a significant sense of fulfillment, but I always knew it was simply a stepping stone rather than my true passion. In 2007, my career eventually led me into travel nursing, which brought me to San Francisco, CA, for approximately 6 years. During that time, I first stepped foot into the field of Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery. I am naturally creative and artistic, so instinctively, I was captivated by the aesthetic industry and the potential it could have for my career. I continued working in the Aesthetics and plastic surgery field for 13 years. I gave birth to a beautiful daughter, Stella, which ultimately led me back to Orlando, FL, to be closer to family. As I continued to grow and expand my knowledge in aesthetics, I eventually went back to school to obtain my master’s in nursing and became a Family Nurse Practitioner. I then applied my years of hospital experience, plastic surgery, and advanced practice nursing to the art of facial aesthetics. At this time in my career, I knew I had found my true passion, and a dream was born to open my aesthetic practice!
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not all things good come easy. I have had many ups and downs, but I am grateful for the journey that led me to where I am today.
