In 2020, we relocated our business to Melbourne, Florida, and transformed our own. Rebranding ourselves as skincare specialists, we embarked on a mission to offer comprehensive solutions beyond makeup. We are proud to announce that our dedication and expertise have been recognized, as we were voted one of the top three best facials in Brevard for both 2021 and 2023 by Florida Today. Would it have been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We are overcoming challenges and thriving against all odds. One of the most significant challenges we encountered was relocating our business to Melbourne, Florida, in 2020. This meant starting from scratch in a new state, with zero clients and limited brand recognition. However, with our unwavering dedication to providing the best services and genuinely caring about our client’s concerns, we overcame this hurdle and built an incredible clientele. Through word-of-mouth recommendations and our reputation for exceptional service, we have earned the trust and loyalty of our clients. Today, we proudly boast a fully booked schedule, often with appointments scheduled a month in advance. As a solo entrepreneur, we understand the unique challenges of wearing multiple hats. From being the front desk representative to providing the services, checking clients out, handling reschedules, cleaning, and even taking out the garbage—we do it all. While it can be demanding, we embrace these responsibilities as opportunities to connect with our clients personally and ensure that every aspect of their experience is exceptional.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Finding a dedicated mentor who will invest their time and expertise in your growth can be challenging. While I have not had the privilege of having a mentor myself, I have always been committed to expanding my education and knowledge as a skincare professional. I have eagerly enrolled in numerous classes and traveled far to receive training and certifications in the most advanced modalities available. Collaborating with various skincare brands that offer comprehensive education has allowed me to stay updated in this ever-evolving industry. The field of skincare is constantly evolving, with new treatments, products, and ingredients emerging each year that surpass their predecessors. This creates a continuous need to invest in our careers, ensuring that we stay up-to-date and the most knowledgeable. Throughout my journey, I have connected with exceptional trainers and teachers who have significantly shaped me into the esthetician I am today.
