Aarohi Shah

Hi Aarohi, It’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us. To start, could you share some of your backstory with our readers?
Before becoming a real estate agent, I worked as a paralegal for 6 years and a title process for under 2 years. I love helping people make life-changing decisions and being their trusted real estate resource. I embrace a growth mindset and continually find ways to improve, whether learning new technologies or new market trends. I strive to be the one they go to regarding anything related to real estate. Their goals become my goals, and it’s gratifying when we are able to achieve them together.

Additionally, I love making new connections and meeting people with different ethnicities, cultures, and backgrounds. This allows me to learn about their unique cultural differences and meet their needs. Real estate is an industry where you get what you put in, with unlimited earning potential. I recently became a new mother of two under two, and I love the ability to create my schedule and flexibility while maintaining a work-life balance.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The greatest challenge in real estate was when I first got into this business; I just realized how many licensed agents there were. Initially, it was a hard pill to swallow when someone I know chose to work with another agent over me. Throughout the years, I have learned that staying true to yourself and being as authentic as possible will get you far. Everyone knows someone who is a real estate agent. I have overcome this by simply being me, letting my personality shine, and delivering value on my social media accounts and in person! I ended my first year with $0 in sales, which was very disappointing, but I did not give up hope. I continued to persevere, and I have become a multi-million dollar producer over the years.

Let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I love being able to help people make life-changing decisions and being their trusted real estate resource. What sets me apart from other real estate professionals is that I’m genuine and 100% me; what you see is what you get! My intimate knowledge of Orlando and 10 years of experience in real estate law, title, and as an agent also sets me apart. I pride myself on patience – I know a real estate sale and purchase can make a person nervous, so I remind them that the ball is in their court and that I’m not in any rush. I do my best to reassure them that I am there for them and on the same team as them from the beginning to the end – all with a smile on my face! I have gotten feedback from my customers that I’m easy to talk to and appreciate the directness, honesty, and uncompromising integrity to advocate for their best interests, even if that means a lower commission for me. It’s not just a transaction; I aim to build a genuine relationship with everyone so they can come to me as a trusted real estate resource. My business has grown solely on referrals, which reflects that. My customers are more than a transaction to me. Building genuine relationships is my main focus. I’ve learned throughout the years that being patient and actively listening to what someone says goes a long way.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
Orlando isn’t just a destination; it’s a lifestyle. With an irresistible blend of thrilling theme parks, diverse cultural experiences, and endless outdoor adventures, it’s no wonder Orlando stands out as one of the most desirable places to call home. Whether you’re drawn to the enchantment of Walt Disney World Resort or the adrenaline rush of Universal Orlando Resort, there’s never a dull moment in this dynamic city. But beyond the theme park thrills lies a vibrant community bursting with creativity, opportunity, and Southern charm. From top-rated schools to bustling neighborhoods brimming with culinary delights, charming farmers markets, and eclectic shops, Orlando offers the perfect mix of urban excitement and suburban tranquility.

Additionally, Orlando is known for being family-friendly, with many attractions and amenities geared toward families and children. More recently, Orlando has a growing foodie scene with award-winning chefs and new Michelin-rated restaurants. From hidden gems tucked away in vibrant neighborhoods to upscale dining destinations boasting innovative cuisine, Orlando’s culinary landscape satisfies every craving and culinary curiosity. While this vibrant city boasts world-renowned attractions and a thriving cultural scene, the lack of robust public transportation infrastructure can overshadow the convenience and accessibility residents crave. With reliable and extensive public transit systems, navigating Orlando’s sprawling landscapes can become manageable, leaving commuters reliant on personal vehicles and facing congested roads. The absence of efficient transit alternatives impacts daily commutes and hinders accessibility to employment centers, educational institutions, and essential services. As prospective homebuyers weigh their options, it’s necessary to consider how the absence of comprehensive public transportation can impact the quality of life and mobility in this otherwise bustling metropolis.
