Hi Sean, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, you could tell our readers some of your backstory.
In 2021, personal health struggles led me to realize how many harmful ingredients are in Protein Powders. It made me mad that a “health product” was hurting my health. So I’ve worked relentlessly since then to create the cleanest and tastiest protein powder that exists – also known as Wellious 🙂
Let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
I’ve been an entrepreneur for 10 years, and nearly every day, I face small struggles – that’s just part of the nature of it. I needed more scalable products and partnerships to navigate in previous businesses, but I still needed more learning. But with Wellious, there has been this feeling since the beginning: “This is the right thing.” A mix of customer affection for the product and operational efficiency from years of learning has made it “smoother” than any other venture.
Let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Wellious is farm-to-scoop protein powder. We only use four real-food ingredients and none of the junk in most protein powders. We pride ourselves on being the “cleanest and tastiest plant-based protein powder.” Customer obsession has led to fast growth and many fabulous brand wins, like huge celebs requesting products, but the most remarkable thing for me is that 10,000+ people have found that Wellious helps them feel better.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I’m just doing things I love with people I love. Being around family and friends, laughing a lot, and learning things I’d become passionate about, like music or surfing.
