Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephen Herron
Hi Stephen, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Stephen and I have been a magician and an entertainer since I was about 10 years old. My dad is a professional entertainer and a magician, and I learned from him from a young age how much I loved entertaining people.
When the pandemic hit, I lost my job in entertainment at one of the major theme parks and wasn’t sure what I was going to do with my life. My landlord ended up hearing about this crazy idea doing Foam parties at peoples houses where we fill an area full of foam and it’s safe for your skin and it doesn’t hurt the grass and we party and have a good time.
He asked me for a business proposal and shortly after my landlord also became my business partner. Shane Stults is a disabled retired Air Force veteran And one of the most amazing humans I’ve ever had the honor and privilege of Having part of my life.
Him and his family have police supported me starting this wonderfully fun and outrageous business that is entertaining people with foam and bubbles.
We just celebrated our third year of being in business on June 15 of this year, which also happens to be national Foam party day!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Living in one of the most entertainment rich areas, it has not been difficult to find people who are wanting to have fun and do unique experiences. The struggle has been letting people know that we’re out there and the there are more options for than just bounce houses and face painters, which are tried and true traditional things that people have different celebrations.
We do backyard parties for people all the time, but we’re able to scale Up what we do in order to throw massive events and have done Large scale vents for communities as well as theme parks, water, parks, and even resorts in our area Such as Margaritaville resort orlando as well as Jeep Beach in Daytona Florida.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am known for my larger than life personality, and my sense of style. Everyone knows me more as “🫧DJ Bubbles🫧” Then they do with Stephen. When you see me out and about meeting with clients or networking, you’ll find me an outrageously colorful suits.
I love to create moments and memories for people in everything I do And ultimately my goal is to leave people happier than I found them. Being a magician, you never know what tricks I’m gonna have up my sleeves to try and make your day better than it was before we had a conversation.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
I am constantly reminded that there are millions of ways to make money and the best piece of advice that I have is to find something that you’re passionate about and see what the need is in that area.
I loved entertaining families at the theme park that I used to work at and now I get to entertain people at major events, and even in their own backyards with a very unique experience that they can’t find anywhere else.
