Today we’d like to introduce you to Carola Serra
Hi Carola, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started working in television 26 years ago, specifically in the production area, during my first year at the University of the Sacred Heart in Santurce, Puerto Rico. From the beginning of my professional career, I built a path in production at Channel 6 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where I gained incredible experience in television and radio production. I produced all types of events, including sports, classical and contemporary musicals, entertainment shows, culture, and politics, among others. In 2017, I created and produced a program entirely directed at women, which is when the idea for “La Voz de Todas” was born. Initially, it was a page on the “Facebook” platform focused on women, sharing sporadic motivational and encouraging messages, recognizing our role in society, and highlighting the numerous hats we wear. It also aimed to provide a bit of optimism to other women, like myself, who needed it as mothers, wives, and professionals. Today, “La Voz de Todas” has become “La Voz de Todas 2023.” After our Facebook page was stolen in November 2023 and we lost all control, we rebuilt it with much sacrifice, adding “2023” to the name. Now, with the support of many, it has become a page for friends, with over 1,900 followers, dedicated daily to beautiful sunrises and sunsets recorded specifically for our loyal followers, accompanied by motivational messages of hope and encouragement, focused on the beauty of life.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Obstacles have always been a part of our journey, as they are essential for our growth. However, we have faced them as learning opportunities, which have strengthened us in every aspect. For example, in 2022, just when I felt fulfilled, truly happy, and at peace, and my eldest son’s high school graduation was only two days away, I was diagnosed with a possible cancerous tumor growing like a carpet in my intestine. We waited nearly seven months between medical tests and surgery to remove it. In the first moments, I was stunned by the news and cried out to God, saying, “I know this situation you present to me is to strengthen my faith and cling to life.” I never complained, followed medical advice, and maintained a positive and optimistic attitude. I did not feel defeated or angry with life; instead, I constantly sent positive messages to my body, repeating, “My body is a temple of health, and I am healthy.” And indeed, there was no cancer, and the tumor was removed.
As challenges and obstacles continue to arise, on November 14, 2023, our Facebook page was stolen, along with all its control, just when it had reached 2,500 followers and was monetizing. At that moment, we reopened the page with great effort and included “2023” in its name. Now, with the support of many, it has become a community of friends, with over 1,950 followers in just six months on Facebook. This challenge prompted us to open accounts on Instagram and TikTok and continue our mission of presenting beautiful sunrises and sunsets daily, recorded by me, to our loyal followers with motivational messages of hope and encouragement. These messages focus on the beauty of life and how wonderful it is despite the daily challenges we may face. The difference lies in how we receive these challenges and the attitude we adopt towards them. God always provides; He never forgets us.

La Voz de Todas is a space for personal motivation and inspiration, where we always emphasize the beautiful side of life.
Gold Sports Media TV is our most recent project this year. We are a digital marketing agency for young athletes on Instagram, with a YouTube channel featuring sports programming.
Any big plans?
Every day, I have worked towards what I want to achieve in the future. Now that I see clearly that the sky is not the limit and that being happy is in vogue, I work with even more joy and enthusiasm to reach the hearts of everyone. If I can plant a seed of hope in someone with just a message of encouragement, I feel happy and fulfilled.
We are actively working on our latest project, “Gold Sports Media TV,” where sports and youth are our focus. They are our future, and we want to dedicate our efforts to them.
