Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris Lau and Anton Duong.
Hi Chris and Anton, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Anton Duong and Chris Lau started StickerPrintGo in the summer of 2023. Anton comes from a branding and design background while Chris comes from a marketing background. Anton was already doing stickers and labels through his branding business for clients he worked with. Through mutual acquaintances, Anton and Chris connected and initiated a conversation about possibly starting a sticker business together due to a gap in the Orlando market. After a few lunches and meetings, StickerPrintGo was born.
With the launch of the website in June 2023, StickerPrintGo was able to start taking online orders from people across the United States. As it continued to build momentum through branding and advertising, more online orders continued to roll in. After a few weeks, Anton and Chris realize they need to make an imprint in the Orlando market so they started attending local art and farmers markets to help get the brand out. Through these markets, they were able to establish their brand not only with attendees of the markets but also the local vendor community.
With online orders continuing and the local presence in Orlando growing, StickerPrintGo was able to increase their partnerships and orders throughout the year. With close to 1 million stickers printed in the last year, StickerPrintGo continues to foster new relationships and increase product offerings.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road. We had some challenges along the way. Initial challenges were brand awareness and getting our audience to know who we are both locally and nationally. Being a new business and one that is littered with competition, we had to create value propositions that made sense for our audience to do business with us.
The other challenges came with logistics and production issues along the way. There were numerous times where we had equipment malfunctions, supply and material shortages, and order logistic problems.
