Hi Michelle, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
All of my life’s story in the business arena has been about stepping stones from the previous experiences to the next adventure. To be more specific, my latest business creation, Teen Spirit Treasures, started from me being a life coach/mentor for teenagers (Soulga with Michelle). I was looking for a gift to surprise my clients with for completing their sessions with me. When I went to find something that was suitable for all teens, not a “Get it Girl” pink or “B is for Boy” blue, there was absolutely NOTHING available!
And so Teen Spirit Treasures was born!!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Honestly, not all of my entrepreneurial endeavors have been free from struggle but with Teen Spirit Treasures, everything has fallen into place. I like to think of this natural process as ‘divine intervention’. I believe that when all things sync up, they are just meant to be! I have an immense amount of gratitude for this opportunity.
Now, if there was one thing that I could choose to improve upon, it would be funding. I have found it to be a bit of a challenge trying to raise funds or qualify for small business loans. BUT I haven’t given up!

Teen Spirit Treasures is a monthly subscription box for all tweens & teens (aged 11-16). This gift box company was created to empower them by providing goodies that boost their self esteem. Our items are all gender neutral so that no one has to fit into a category.
The mission behind TST is really important because in today’s world, there are so many labels being placed on our youth; and they deserve to have something special created just celebrating their existence!
Teen Spirit Treasures is so much more than a business selling monthly subscription boxes. It is an ally & a voice for Gen Zers & Alphas!!
Any big plans?
Some of the goals/plans for the future of Teen Spirit Treasures is to be able to incorporate special occasion boxes (like Back to School box or Holiday box) and to be able to add personalization for the recipient (like having the box contents personalized with names on them etc.)
