Hi Cenan, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Hi! My name’s Cece and I’m a lifestyle/college creator based between Toronto and DC! After learning that you could monetize your social media presence, I started posting videos about my tennis journey in high school. I’ve explored a few different niches including fashion, beauty, and tech, but as I started college, I’ve focused mainly on student-life content! Staying consistent with posting has helped me grow, and I’m excited to see where it goes.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I haven’t dealt with many obstacles within my journey so far; I only consider it as a part-time hustle. My main focus right now is school and tennis but most of my other time goes towards content creation. I would say that sometimes it gets a little overwhelming because I try to upload every day on all platforms, but I think staying consistent is worth it!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m most known for my “What I Eat in a Day as a College Athlete” videos and I post across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. I’m a division-one tennis player at George Mason University and tennis has been a big part of my life since I was six and a half years old. I’m very thankful that I get to continue playing a sport that I love at the collegiate level and be part of an amazing team. I pull a lot of inspiration from other creators in the community but I think what sets me apart is my fast-paced editing and authenticity. My content is a reflection of my personality and I think that’s why people resonate with it!
What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favourite childhood memory would probably be trick or treating with my friends every Halloween.
