Check Out Charles Roundtree’s Story

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Charles Roundtree.

Hi Charles, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started writing and producing music around the age of 16.

Using music programs like Cake Walk, Cube Bass, Pro Tools, Fruit Loops, and Reason. At first, my focus and passion were all in on producing. I love creating new sounds, having a vision or a song in my head, and watching it come to life the same way I imagined.

Some of my favorite instruments are brass, strings, and piano. I always dreamed of starting my own entertainment company where I could help independent artists like myself grow their craft and develop into the best versions of themselves. That is why I created Concrete Muzic Ent. #wesosolid is our slogan.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, the road hasn’t been smooth. I have had plenty of upsides and downsides. Being an independent artist and the CEO is extremely challenging when you don’t have the funds and the major support from a major label.

From marketing to wardrobe, video production, studio time, album covers, photos, mixing & mastering, website, open mic, music attorney, etc. However, my passion and love for music arts is what keeps me going because I know with great challenges, comes great rewards.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe you can tell us more about your work next?
I specialize in song writing, music producing, video production, artist development, cover art and artist management.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I’m a leader who puts 100% into anything I’m passionate about. I lead by my actions, not by words. I want the best for the artist and create high-quality music that people can feel and relate to.
