Hi Bonnie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My love for outdoor spaces began as a child when my parents installed a swimming pool in our backyard, just down the road from the airport here in Orlando. I was captivated by the entire design process: the selection of tiles, the layout of the deck, the choice of water color, and how, in just a few short months, our backyard transformed into ‘the’ place to hang out. Family gatherings soon happened almost exclusively around our pool. Birthdays, holidays, everyday celebrations-our outdoor space became the eternal host.
Fast forward a few years, and it is now one of my greatest pleasures to help other families create their own outdoor retreats. Places where they can welcome friends and family, creating memories that will last a lifetime. We are proud to help families across the nation bring their backyard dreams to life.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
After building our pool here in Winter Garden, I connected with our builder to begin offering design services to his customers. The thrill of transforming outdoor spaces and witnessing the joy it brought to homeowners inspired me to further grow my design firm. Recognizing the potential to make a broader impact, I expanded our services to offer luxury outdoor design solutions to homeowners nationwide.
Since then, we have formed strategic partnerships with realtors and other builders across the nation, enabling us to bring our creative vision and expertise to a larger audience. Our collaborative efforts ensure that each project is tailored to meet the unique needs and desires of our clients, resulting in beautifully designed outdoor spaces that enhance their homes and lifestyles. We take pride in our ability to transform outdoor spaces, continuously pushing the boundaries of innovation and design to deliver exceptional results on a larger scale.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
I vividly remember swimming with my two brothers on Christmas Day in 1992. That year, even by Florida standards, the air was unseasonably warm. We spent the entire day in a loop, swimming until our fingers resembled prunes and then sprinting to the hot tub to chase away the chill. We laughed, splashed, and challenged each other to see who could stay in the pool the longest before making the mad dash to the warmth of the hot tub. This back-and-forth marathon became our Christmas tradition that year, one that held more joy and excitement than any gift could ever provide.
Even now, I can’t recall a single gift I received that Christmas, but the memory of swimming with my brothers, our faces red from the cold and our hearts full of laughter, is indelibly etched into my brain. As I look back, I realize that it wasn’t the pool my parents bought when they signed that contract all those years ago-it was the memories, the joy of being together, and the simple yet profound pleasure of our backyard adventures to come.
That Christmas taught me that the true magic of any space lies in the experiences it fosters. It’s a lesson that has shaped my passion for designing outdoor spaces, where families can create their own cherished memories. Just as my parents’ pool became the backdrop for one of my most treasured childhood moments, I strive to design spaces that will inspire similar stories of joy, laughter, and togetherness for families everywhere.
