Daily Inspiration: Meet Anissa Arnum

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anissa Arnum.

Anissa Arnum

Hi Anissa, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hello, My name is Anissa Arnum, and I was born and raised in Florida. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exceptional Student Education. I currently teach students K-5 in the Self-contained Developmental classroom in Seminole County. On my free time I love going to concerts and crafting. Through my love of crafting, I created A Is For Angel Designs. A newly founded small business that specializes in beaded bracelets. Along with guided virtual and in person bracelet making workshops. My goal is to bring a smile with each bracelet.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been a bumpy road, but I’ve been learning about the business and myself along the way.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am the owner and Designer of A Is For Angel Designs. I specialize in not only beaded bracelets. I also specialize in guided bracelet workshops. I am an Educator at heart. I love to teach and see the pure happiness on someone’s face when they learn something. I’m known for my caring nature and love of music. I’m most proud of not only my growth as an Educator. I’m also proud of all the knowledge I’ve gained in starting A Is For Angel Designs.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love most about Orlando is its inclusivity and diversity. I like the promise of the city. One of the things I like the least is the traffic.
