Today we’d like to introduce you to Tabitha Morales
Hi Tabitha , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in Ohio and started singing and dancing at the age of 4 years old. I went to college for theatre and did the Disney College program which is what brought me to Florida. I’ve performed at both Disney, Universal, and Nickelodeon. I’ve also did a few roles across the states including NYC with the Murder Mystery Company. I currently perform downtown Orlando at HighT while also hold a full time position as a senior wedding coordinator at Paradise Cove. I also currently am on Weight Watchers and lost 75 pounds in 5 months and reversed type 2 diabetes in 90 days.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s has always been a bumpy road with entertainment because it doesn’t provide full time opportunities. You always have to have multiple jobs to fullfill this role but I wouldn’t change my experiences for the world. I was born to perform!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m known as a singer and actress in Orlando. I specialize in jazz. One of my favorite places to perform was Jewel Orlando as a 1920s jazz singer and I also got married in this venue so it holds a special part of my heart. I’m proud to say I’ve performed in over 3 theme parks and continue to audition for them to this day. What sets me apart is my drive and determination to always try and keep going. I also am on a health journey and down 75 pounds.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I would define success as creating goals and being able to achieve them. Success is also earned through hard work and dedication. It’s about going through hard time and struggles but still inspiring and leading yourself to the main goal.
