Today we’d like to introduce you to Rae Grijalva
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I began my career as a business owner with a love and passion for wanting to bring a vision to life, and thrive in a field that I could allow my creative genius to work with others. I fell in love with weddings and events from the nature of taking a clients vision and crafting a full blown event from just a thought. With over 13 years of experience as a business owner in the weddings and events industry, I have successfully built a thriving business that has tripled in size, expanding our team of contractors and employees while also creating valuable partnerships with local businesses. Our focus on creating elevated full event design and planning services, with intention to tell each clients unique wedding story from beginning to end, has earned us recognition in publications such as Wedding Chicks and Brides Magazine.
Throughout my journey as a woman business owner, I recognized the desire for women to excel in their businesses with confidence and ease, and the struggle that so many of us have felt with fighting our natural feminine instincts in a burnout driven world. I had the privilege of meeting over coffee or lunches with fellow business owners, guiding and mentoring them to elevate their businesses by raising their prices, setting clear boundaries, and attracting clients who align with their vision. Together, we worked on enhancing their business structures and building their confidence as leaders in their fields with a focus on feminine authority and building a business that was aligned to their personal goals.
Drawing from this extensive experience and a certification as a Law of Attraction Coach, I launched my Confidence Coaching business in 2021, dedicated to empowering women in self-confidence. My mission is to help women work with their feminine authority to boost their confidence and achieve their personal and professional goals, guiding them to elevate themselves to where they aspire to be. I believe that with the right support and mindset, anything is possible, and I am passionate about helping others unlock their potential.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have definitely been some bumps along the way in building both of my businesses to the place they’re at now, but I like to look at those bumps more as opportunity of trial and error. All of my bumps have been a chance for me to learn something new about myself, my business, how I structure my business, who I want to work with, how I speak to people about my business even! I would say the majority of my road bumps were when I was pushing for something to happen too much and too in my own way. I found that when I allowed myself to get out of my own way, allowed the path to open for me, allowed that sometimes things weren’t meant to be or clients weren’t mean to be, or timing even, more good would flow to me, more success, and more aligned opportunity. A lot of the times my struggles were very self imposed limiting beliefs and spaces I was boxing myself in to.

Business owner and CEO of a wedding and event planning company for 13 years, turned Confidence Coach for women. I take my experiences and certifications and coach women through my signature programs and one-on-one coaching. As a dedicated confidence coach and mentor, I specialize in providing women the tools to empower themselves to overcome self-limiting barriers that hinder their personal and professional growth. My approach focuses on confidence-building techniques that inspire and motivate women to embrace their potential. Inside my coaching programs you will find tailored strategies and support, enabling my clients to identify their strengths, visualize and strategize ambitious goals, and cultivate a resilient mindset. Together, we work to identify and dismantle self-imposed fears and insecurities and create a sense of empowerment and higher-self energy to thrive in their businesses, careers, and personal lives. It is my deepest belief that we create the most positive impact in the world by creating within our zone of genius. My mission is to help women unlock their unique genius and build their dream lives centered around it, enabling her to attract and achieve her dreams, while making a meaningful impact in the world.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I define success as actually walking the journey. When you consciously choose to live as your higher self and take the steps, build the habits, and implement the action to get there then you’re already succeeding. Too often we can get lost in the focus on reaching the top that we forget its about the journey and enjoying it along the way. I encourage my clients to celebrate their wins, small and big, often. This reminds them that what they’re doing each day, the small and intentional steps, creates the big shifts. For me on a personal note, success is living a life where I get to define my schedule and have the ability to have a focus on my family and invest my time with them, while working with incredibly aligned and amazing clients in my career, and feeling energized by my life.
