Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Seebadan
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Meet Amanda Seebadan: She has been a licensed Realtor since 2012. Amanda is licensed in Florida, having moved to the Sunshine State in Fall of 2020 from Maryland. When you hire her, you get the best of both worlds, local and national knowledge. She is an active member of KW Sports and Entertainment Division, KW Land, KW Young Professionals connecting her with top producers across the world. She loves exploring Florida. Having relocated here herself, she has a deep understanding and knowledge of the relocation process. Her and her team specialize in land sales, relocation, luxury, move up, downsizing and first time home buyers.
She is married, has two children and a shih-tzu named Sassy. Her and her husband founded Cars and Cocktails FL, a curated car show experience raising money for local charities. She also enjoys off-roading in her American Flag wrapped Jeep with her family and friends.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting my real estate business from scratch in a whole new market during a pandemic with two small kids was way harder than I could have ever imagined. My first couple years here, I would fly back and forth to Maryland or Virginia to take care of those clients. With my focus being on three states it was not ideal to grow a team in my state, Florida. I got a really good coach that challenged me to “think small” which is extremely hard for me but he was right. Build a solid foundation right where you are and all the other pieces will fall in place.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have been very blessed to learn from various industry leaders who have expanded my thinking, skills and knowledge. Over the last few years I have done quite a few land sales working with various builders, developers and dreamers. I have mentored athletes and students at the University of Central Florida on how to get their real estate license, keep them accountable and how to grow their knowledge in real estate. I am on my office’s Agent leadership Counsel with a focus on all the incredible communities they have, connecting likeminded agents across the world. I am the Regional Director of Azul Bay Vacation Rentals, we cover the Tampa Bay Region and Central Florida providing white glove service on vacation rentals, short term and long term rentals. I am an active member of WISE, Women in Sports and Events. Those are some of the most inspiring ladies I have had the opportunity to be surrounded with. I am a Chamber Ambassador for the Oviedo Winter Springs Chamber of Commerce. With my husband we run two networking groups, Coffee and Connections and Cocktails and Connections. I am all about the community, no matter if it’s in our town or across the country. Selling homes is my job but it’s always about the people and their stories, not mine.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
We are seeing a lot of changes industry wide. The skilled agents will adjust and thrive. Finding a mentor who you can grow with will become even more important when getting into the business.
