Today we’d like to introduce you to Fuegoboof
fuegoboof, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Originally i’m from hackensack new jersey, strangely enough for
how young i was i seem to remember a lot from it like it just happened. i feel as if it wasn’t for me being there at the time i was i don’t think i would’ve gravitated towards music and art as much as i do now, the strange yet diverse demographic of people and cultures, my family members being involved with music, even down to how things looked over there it all just wired my brain in a certain way for all things creatively. i moved to Kissimmee shortly after and i’ve been here since, spent damn near all my time at lakeside skatepark, i owe a lot to that park for nearly everything relevant to me. i remember making my first beat there and just my mind being blown by how accessible creating actually is. fast forward to my senior year is when i finally decided to start taking music more seriously and present myself as an artist
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
for the most part, i wouldn’t necessarily say smooth but it’s been a learning experience all the way through so i’m thankful for a lot of the bumps that came along the way. a lot of my struggles usually come internally. i spent so much time trying to prove to everyone that i can be taken just as serious as the next person and in that i ended up in a weird spiral of doubt and conflict on just who i am and what i’m doing, and just typical life stuff, car problems, home problems, jobs, girls, etc. i’m grateful to say i’m very arrogant even towards myself so usually no negativity ever stops me from doing what i got to do because i know the amount of greatness waiting for me is bigger than any of the issues i face today.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I make music, whether it’s producing, rapping, engineering, anything, it’s music down to core all done by me in my room . soon i want to venture off into other things to help make this world i’m creating through music larger than life and i can’t wait to see what it all turns into. What i’m most proud of currently is this project i’m about to drop called MOTH. probably the most honest i’ve been through music, the most thought out body of work i’ve done so far. i think i proved my point in showing i’m on a different playing field when it comes to music. And to just physically see a random idea come to life, nothing can make me more proud than that you know ? it’s hard for me to explain what makes me different because i’ve always been a show don’t tell type of person, but i know i’m nothing alike the rest, everything i do is with the intent of having it last and mean something for years to come and i care, i care about how i sound, i care about how the cover looks, what color represents the song ,i care about my performance even if it’s just the opening act. i care about the slightest details to everything because i know this will live forever even when i’m gone. I’m here to give consumers genuine creativity and not make songs because it’s the thing to do, and it’s awesome to see it resonates with people, at the shows everyone’s participating barely touching their phones just running into each other it’s soooo fire
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
being more aware of my health id say, it was crazy to see how a sickness can lock the entire world up so being
more aware of what i put in my body and keeping clean became super important. i’m grateful to say covid didn’t affect me and my family in any harmful way
