Daily Inspiration: Meet Darivett Concepcion

Today we’d like to introduce you to Darivett Concepcion

Hi Darivett, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
After dedicating over ten years to being a SAHM and ensuring my children were well taken care of, I found myself with more time on my hands once they were all in school full-time. During those years, I also worked on a blog and grew my social media presence on my personal page, which kept me connected and engaged with a broader community.

Feeling it was the right moment to embark on a new journey for myself, my best friend suggested that I consider a career in real estate, believing that my skills and personality made me an ideal fit for the industry.

Taking her advice to heart, I reflected on my upbringing, where I was surrounded by real estate and mortgage conversations thanks to my father’s profession. This background gave me a unique insight and appreciation for the field. Motivated by these factors, I decided to pursue a real estate license and dove headfirst into my new career.

Since then, I have found immense joy and satisfaction in helping people through the process of finding their perfect homes. Whether it’s expanding families looking for their forever homes or individuals seeking their dream property, I am dedicated to guiding them every step of the way. Real estate has not only provided me with a rewarding career but also allowed me to make a positive impact on people’s lives, which I truly cherish!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting out as a new agent in an entirely new field was definitely a bit intimidating. However, choosing the right brokerage to support me made all the difference. From the beginning, my broker, Amy Miller, has been an incredible mentor. She’s provided me with the knowledge and guidance needed to navigate challenging situations that arise during transactions. The support I’ve received from Amy and our entire team has been invaluable, and I’m truly grateful to be part of such a collaborative and supportive environment. It’s given me a solid foundation and confidence as I continue growing in this career.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
In my work as a realtor, I specialize in residential properties and work extensively with investors, helping them identify and secure profitable opportunities. I’m known for my dedication to providing a seamless experience for my clients, from the first consultation through closing, and I strive to go beyond the basics to ensure they feel informed, empowered, and supported throughout the process.

One of the accomplishments I’m most proud of is working with an investment group from Brazil. After numerous Google Meet sessions, we finally met here in the U.S., where I had the opportunity to list and successfully close my first Luxury property for them. As a first-time agent, I also organized a broker’s open house for the listing, which was a rewarding experience and a great way to showcase the property to potential buyers.

What sets me apart is my commitment to building genuine relationships. Whether I’m working with families, first-time homebuyers, or seasoned investors, I believe real estate is much more than transactions; it’s about trust and understanding the unique goals behind each move. I tailor my approach to meet each client’s needs, so they feel genuinely heard and valued. I strive to be not just a realtor but a reliable partner in their journey.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
One of the biggest lessons was recognizing the importance of empathy. People were experiencing heightened emotions and uncertainty, so being able to listen, understand, and support them was key. It helped me see that, as realtors, we’re not just here to handle transactions we’re helping people make life changes, often under challenging circumstances. I also gained a greater appreciation for strong communication skills, as keeping clients informed and reassured in uncertain times became a priority.
