Daily Inspiration: Meet Zetta Cavalli

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zetta Cavalli

Zetta, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Everything started for me when I moved to this country. I moved from South America in July 2016 just a few days after my birthday. Everything was so new and strange for me at such a young age. It was beyond difficult t figuring out what my interest were with such tumultuous times. Everything was so foreign. When I turned 21 I went to my first gay club, that was the moment my life changed forever. Since that day, I started going to drag shows every single week just to see the queens with such beauty and grace that got me hooked for years. I got to meet my very own drag mother one of those nights and Zetta was born officially. I’ve been doing drag for the past 2 years and what a rollercoaster it has been. I am so grateful for the opportunities that I’ve gotten as an artist and can’t wait for the ones to come!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nothing about being a drag performer is easy. Especially explaining my career to a Hispanic family that has never been exposed to this art. It definitely was a difficult task for me to explain my family why I love so much what I do but I’m happy to say they support me and love that I have a passion.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My name is Zetta Cavalli and I’m a drag artist from Orlando Florida, originally born and raised in Venezuela. My style of drag is very sensual and seductive with a more masculine approach to my looks. I am very proud of the looks I’ve created mu whole career and respect I’ve gotten from my fellow peers, it means the world being appreciated by the ones that work just as hard as you.

How do you define success?
I love getting asked this question because it’s very subjective. Multiple people would define success and financial power or fame. I consider success as being able to do what you love, with the people that you love. Success is the feeling of being there for your community and change lives with my art. That’s success for me.
