Hi Elaudivette, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Elaudivette Fernandez, I am the owner of Bougie Apples, LLC. In South Orlando. I started my business in 2020, under Candy Apple crush, LLC. But had to close do to the Covid Pandemic.
The idea to open Bougie Apples, LLC. was in Halloween 2019. when I had mentioned to some of my friends why do the candy apples always look the same? There needs to be a change in the way they are presented. My friends replied, you would be the right person to make it happen. then we all laughed… When Christmas came around, I was determined to make my first Candy Apple look glamours. I gave Candy Apples as gifts for Christmas. They asked me where I had purchased them, also, that they were too pretty and beautiful to eat. I informed them that I had made them. So, I decided to re-open in May 2024. Due to numerus request from our customers As Bougie Apples, LLC. You can now find us in Farmers Markets thru out central Florida. and upon request corporate events. For those who wish to follow us. We have Instagram and TikTok… under (Lovemycandyapples).
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Having a full-time job has been an obstacle. On the other hand, making my Candy Apples has been my passion in which I look forward to every weekend. Putting a smile on my customers make my day feeling blessed.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I work in the Dental field for 40 years. I specialize in fabricating dental prothesis. Being dedicated to my career, and what sets me apart is my personality and ambition.
How do you think about happiness?
Thanking God for another day of life. And making a difference by helping others smile. Spending time with my family and friends. Being thankful and grateful always opens new doors and opportunity.
What makes me happier is knowing that I planted a seed in society for those who need it the most.
