Meet Danielle O’Quinn of Wemert Group Realty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle O’Quinn.

Hi Danielle, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born and raised in Kansas, and have been in Florida for 9 years with my husband and our now two kids. I come from a background in marketing and sales and have been in real estate now for 3 years. I did my first million dollar transaction 2 months into my real estate career, and that is where my passion for specializing in luxury real estate began. Since then, I have closed over $35M in sales, including a $13M home that was one of the Top 5 Highest Sold homes in all of Central Florida History.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Breaking into the luxury real estate market as a new agent in the industry has had its challenges, but being persistent and focused on building my business and clientele in the luxury space, as well as relationships and connections with other luxury agents has helped to build my business and reputation. It is definitely a challenging career, but also very rewarding.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I work for Wemert Group Realty as a Realtor and Luxury Specialist. I work with all types of sellers and buyers in our market, but my main focus and speciality is luxury real estate in the Windermere area. Having closed over 15 transactions over $1M, including my $13M sale, I believe being the new face of luxury in our market and bringing a fresh approach to the knowledge and understanding of a luxury buyer and seller has set me apart from others in my industry. I also have had the opportunity to work with professional athletes, CEO’s and many other high profile clients, which has given me the experience and ability to navigate unique real estate transactions.

How do you think about luck?
I don’t believe in luck, especially not in this industry. I believe in being strategic and persistent in building your business and connections with people who put you in the right rooms, and then in turn, simply doing the hardwork in order to build a successful business with your relationships and reputation. Your reputation can proceed you way past your sales volumes or anything else in this industry, and it is something I learned early on how important it is to focus and build on. Another important contributor in my business has been having amazing mentors and a team beside you, which I am grateful to have. I also have had several tough deals and clients that have taught me a lot about this business and myself throughout the years, and I think you need to take the bad with the good in order to continue to learn and grow in this career, and truly in any area of life.
