Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Dasilva
Hi Tiffany, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We can all remember a time when we had red lipstick smeared on our faces and said, “mommy Look.” Ever since that day, I knew I wanted to become a makeup artist. Years later, I began modeling and in the middle of getting hair and makeup ready, I was offered a job to work as a makeup artist.
After working for a few years, getting my license, and traveling throughout Florida, I knew I could take this passion for makeup further. This lead to me making videos on the internet of my silly little makeup looks – which actually weren’t so silly because now its my full time job as a content creator.
Working full time filming, editing, & posting content for my beauty and fashion socials @tiiffxny, I felt like I needed to do something different. Somewhere along the way I started getting introduced to real estate investing and “beautifying” run down houses. Which then led to me here today: a full time content creator who creates makeup and fashion content by day, & real estate investing guru by night.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
This has been one of the bumpiest rides ever, its all a part of life. Along the way I have had to become an entrepreneur (which im still learning how to do today), a social media marketer, & someone who’s always putting on a show.
I think the beauty in life is being able to take those bumps in life and being able to either patch them, swerve them, or invent a flying car to not have to worry about it.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Beauty and a Builder actually started on accident. I began building a tiny house with my dad to live in and hopefully get my feet on the ground by not having many expenses in my 20s. Little did I know, the video I posted online would go viral and began inspiring others to do the same.
Along the way I found a passion for building and beautifying homes, which then led to buying, remodeling, & selling homes that otherwise were unable to be inhabited. After finishing the tiny house build, I was definitely craving more, so I decided to buy a house and renovate it, then another, & now our most recent project is another tiny house (full circle moment if you ask me 😉
Beauty and a builder strives to help others be able to create some passive income by real estate investing, empower women to do the work themselves, & be able to add to the community whether thats with tiny houses or beautifying neighborhoods 🙂
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
My family. They are the reason I have everything today and am able to look back on the journey and it be a happy, collaborative, and supportive one.
From my mom helping me learn about real estate investing and teaching me entrepreneurship, my dad for taking his time to pass on his carpentry skills to his daughter, and my husband for being a support system along the way and listening to my crazy ideas that I go out to execute.
