Today we’d like to introduce you to Freedom Reign.
Hi Freedom, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
MY STORY Born Shameka Jones. Married into Shameka Howard. REBORN FREEDOM REIGN!!
Freedom Reign, born Shameka Jones, is a mother of 6 Amazing Gems, 4 adults and 2 twin teens, married to a Loving, Adoring King for 16 years. People see the life I live today, the life I dreamed of as a little girl, and would never know that my background is filled with pain, struggle, failures, brokenness, rejection, poverty, abuse, sexual assault, suicidal thoughts; fighting for my life (literally and figuratively), fighting for my sanity, and my Peace of Mind. You name it, I more than likely experienced it at some point on some level.
I didn’t just take a class or read a book on how to do what I do today, I LIVED this thing and chose not to die when there were so many times that was all I wanted or I knew would put an end to all the pain, disappointment, and suffering that seemed would never end.
Born in Hampton, VA, but Newport News VA (known as “bad news”, one of the worst areas on that side of VA), raised me. I was a single mother of 4 by 24. All of my babies UNDER the age of 7-years-old. At this point, surviving off of food stamps, WIC, the little money I received from the state & child support, side hustles, and support from family. My dreams for a better life for me and my babies along with an inward fire and fight that only God can give is why I have made it to see this day. I not only survived that life, but I was blessed to thrive, rise and reign over every odd and obstacle that came my way.
At the age of 18 I was introduced to entrepreneurship and started my first home-based business. Determined not to be a product of my environment and to fulfill the life of My Dreams for me and my babies, I went back to school, eventually started to transition into corporate America, taking on jobs that would sharpen my leadership, entrepreneurial skills and put more coins(money) in my pocket.Through ALL of this, I was still spending a large percentage of my day coaching others through their life challenges while they had no idea as to how heavy mine were. Singing, Preaching, coaching/counseling and empowering others was my pastime therapy and highlight of much of my day.

Freedom Reign, is a business owner and certified Life Empowerment Coach & Speaker at Freedom I Reign Empowerment, LLC; an organization leader alongside her husband DeCree Reign, born Shannon Howard, of ROCTC (Reign Over Chains Tribal Community); Founder and teacher at Royalty Reign School where she homeschools her teenage twins. She is also an Ordained Minister, Poetess, Teacher, Organization and the list goes on with 20 plus years experience, specializing in bringing Healing & Freedom to the lives of women all over the world. Freedom has committed her life to being a vessel used to support every woman, queen and underdog across the globe in reaching the pinnacle of their Higher-self; teaching them how to rise & reign over ever obstacle and odd; imparting wisdom on how to activate the fire within, while empowering them to walk in unadulterated and uninhibited FREEDOM!
Everyday I thank god for the life that I am living, the life I was given, along with the tools, resources, fight, fire, and power to rise, reign and breakthrough what tried to break me!!! THIS is the Air that I Breathe and why I will forever do what I do!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all. There where many struggles along the way. The most challenging where for one, starting life navigating through being violated as a young child by someone that was suppose to protect me. Then having quite a few situations that followed where I was sexually violated as a child and young adult. Being a single mother of 4 under the age of 7 by the age of 23 desiring to have this fairytale family that seemed would never happen due to the toxic relationships I continued to attract. Poverty, being broke, and brokenness were like boulders on my shoulders, because I wanted and dreamed of so much more out of life for my babies and myself. Rejection, dysfunctional and toxic relationships with those where all I wanted was to love and be loved by them almost took me out. At that time I just couldn’t understand how or why it was so hard to love me the way i needed to be loved. Then going through my grand awakening, rebirthing and “wilderness season” where I along with my husband was led to move our family to another state and disconnect and walk away form everything(person, place or thing) familiar that was hindering my/our evolution and start a new life. Now, the moving was the hard part. That was actually exciting to me. The struggle was what we began to discover during that time about people that we loved and the treatment we received in many cases as we were navigating through our life. I underwent an intense healing journey during that time where I really had to face me and see the role I had played in my own demise in multiple areas. Consequently, I had to forever walk away from the old me and old relationships, and make several adjustments in multiple areas of my life.

You should know, F.I.R.E., LLC is committed to serving, supporting, aiding and guiding women, children, the underdog, rarebreeds, the rejected, the undervalued, the broken, traumatized across the globe in reaching the pinnacle of their Higher-self; teaching them how to rise & reign over ever obstacle and odd; imparting wisdom on how to activate the fire within, while empowering them to walk in unadulterated and uninhibited freedom. I pride myself in creating a safe and judgement free space where true healing can take place. I am a Motivational Speaker and Empowerment Coach with 20 plus years of experience of empowering others, serving small and large groups, organizations, corporations, churches through speaking engagements, classes and group coaching sessions. I currently facilitate a Rise & Reign QueensClass (my version of a masterclass) every third Saturday that includes men, men women and children. It will be closing out the end of this year to start back up in the spring of 2025.
I specialize in Activating and Igniting the fire within that oftentimes lies dormant and coaching my clients on how to break the chains that hinder change and transformation in their life with my FIRE System.
What sets me apart is that everything I do is customized and tailored specifically to cater to the intimate needs of that client, group or organization. Nothing is recycled. My genuine Love for people and my heart to serve every soul I come across and the fact that serving others in this capacity is not just a business to me. It is the life that I live and the air that I breathe. I will, have done, and still do this for free because it’s who I am and simply in me to do. Also, within my courses I tend to use all of my gifts and talents to serve. Sometimes singing, poetry, dance and comedy when fitting is used. Lastly, I emphasis building community so once the service is complete that doesn’t mean the relationship is. We become extended family. I have more of an old school, hands on approach to running my business versus everything being done through technology and apps.
I’m most proud of my heart and the work that I have done to guard and preserve the softness of my heart considering the tumultuous, traumatic, hard experiences of my life; which I know contributes to the effectiveness of the impact I am able to make in the lives of those I serve. I’m equally as proud of the work that I do to serve others that no one sees.
