Today we’d like to introduce you to Nile Stephens
Hi Nile, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Truthfully, I think my story is just beginning that everything up until this point were bloopers or commercials if you will say. My story is much bigger than me and has more to do with the impact I have had on others and the impact they’ve had on me. I am where I am due to the experiences I’ve experienced. I have always been much like the title of my first book a Soldier In a Butterfly Body. If I had to specify one thing that has lead me here it would be faith. I always had faith in my goals and visions for the life I wanted to live and message I wanted to leave behind. I always wanted my existence to be more than merely existing but to emphasize living. I have lived through somethings but I truly LIVED through them if you know what I mean.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Life would not be a life well lived if you did not have some obstacles and shortcomings along the way. They impact you in some profound ways and speed up character development you otherwise wouldn’t have went through. Some challenges I faced was losing my father at the age of four, having to help my mother through cancer and my own personal battles. Going through so much so young required me to grow up fast so it took a lot of my youth and created some resentment. I also struggled a lot with anxiety which at times could be debilitating.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am currently breaking into the modeling industry it has been a beautiful and very empowering experience too. It has allowed me to meet some amazing people and tap into a side of me I did not know even existed. I have learned a lot about myself within this experience and tapped into many talents. To date I am most proud of the publishing of my first book this year, that entails a lot of my personal experiences and struggles. It also offers readers advice and guidance. I think what sets me apart from others is my unwavering authenticity.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Spending the holidays at my great grandmothers house with all of my family. I come from a very big family so it was always nice when we all could come together for the holidays or any celebratory moments.
