My journey in the cosmetology industry began at Eastern Florida State College, where I graduated from the cosmetology program in 2017. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in every aspect of the industry, from hairstyling to salon ownership, constantly growing and refining my craft.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of owning two salons, each a stepping stone toward realizing my ultimate vision. In 2024, I proudly rebranded and expanded my current salon, Electric Leopard Hair Studio, into a vibrant space in Cocoa Village, FL, that reflects my passion for creativity, artistry, and community.

I believe in the power of connecting people through creativity, and I’ve built a space where local artists and visionaries can come together to share their work and inspire others. Embracing a maximalist lifestyle, I’ve infused every corner of my salon with bold energy and personality, creating an environment as unique as the clients I serve.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Building Electric Leopard Hair Studio has been more than a professional journey—it’s been a deeply personal one. Healing from trauma has profoundly shaped who I am, how I approach my work, and the kind of environment I’ve created within my salon.
For a long time, I carried the weight of past experiences that left me questioning my worth and my ability to succeed. Through the process of healing, I discovered that creativity could be a powerful outlet—a way to channel pain into something beautiful and meaningful. Hair became more than a profession; it became a canvas for self-expression and a way to connect with others on a deeper level.
This healing journey taught me the importance of fostering a space where people feel safe, seen, and celebrated for who they are. At Electric Leopard, I strive to create an environment that’s not just about hair—it’s about transformation, empowerment, and community. I want my clients and team to feel that same sense of renewal and joy that I found through embracing my creativity.
The process of healing also pushed me to embrace vulnerability and authenticity, both in my work and my personal life. It reminded me that growth often comes from the most challenging experiences and that beauty exists not in perfection but in the bold, unapologetic pursuit of one’s passions.

Another challenge has been navigating the ups and downs of the economy has been another major hurdle. Running a small business in an unpredictable financial climate has required constant innovation and adaptability. From fluctuating client demand to managing costs, these obstacles taught me to think creatively and remain steadfast in my vision for Electric Leopard, and to never compromise on my dream.
Lastly, overcoming self-doubt and burnout has been a continuous process. The pressure to succeed and the effort to stay ahead in a fast-paced industry can be overwhelming. By focusing on self-care, setting boundaries, and embracing my unique vision, I’ve learned to navigate these challenges while staying true to my mission and passion.
These experiences, while difficult, have strengthened my resolve to create something truly special. Electric Leopard Hair Studio is more than just a salon—it’s a reflection of my journey, a testament to resilience, and a celebration of the bold, creative, and supportive community I’ve worked hard to build.
