Today we’d like to introduce you to Yulio Le Saint
Hi Yulio, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started my journey when I was 16 years old in my hometown in Venezuela in 2015. I had very humble beginnings, using old equipment, messing with Sound system Equalizers and playing electronic music at friends’ house parties for a couple of years as a hobby. Then, I was booked for a party at my high school where I opened the night. That experience pushed me to take music more seriously, and I started dedicating more time to creating tracks.
It was around that time that I began exploring what kind of music I wanted to make. I experimented with hip hop, house, and Afrobeat sounds. By 2017, I began traveling to North America, where I immersed myself in new music scenes and discovered a fresh continental vibe.
In 2020, I was living in Mexico during the pandemic. It was then that I made the decision to move to Tulum. I immediately fell in love with the town, the beach, the natural beauty, and of course, the vibrant party scene. My international journey as a DJ really took off there when I had the opportunity to perform at iconic venues like Mia Beach Club and Akin Beach Club. I also played at a variety of private events, sharing the stage with respected names in the scene.
After Tulum, I found big opportunities in cities like Houston, Miami, and Orlando, and I even played in Argentina. I signed tracks with European and American record labels, and now I’m currently working on new EPs that I plan to release later this year.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
it is not been a smooth road for sure, its hard when you don’t know about the business, how to utilize the tools properly based in music creation, arrangement, marketing and also I would say not having a mentor, I took more time to know the things I needed to know. we all learn the hard way sometimes.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am known for my versatility to adapt to any situation, my difference is that i always have rare gems, and play the less commercial music that the public doesn’t know that they needed to hear. I design clothes, my brand Caribbean hills / Caribenos worldwide is one of my projects I have years working on, also I design flyers for parties, 3d design, I am a photographer and into film making. I think my versatility is create not just music, but develop concepts and capture moments with my vision.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I think is going to be huge in 10 years very saturated, but very amplified. I think we need more new concepts of clubbing, more clubs, more day parties, brunches and innovative proposals. I’m positive of what is coming
