Hi En’Drea, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Born to a Caribbean family I grew up with a strong sense of work ethic and a calling to help people. I’ve always enjoyed the arts and academics: dancing in the band while in high school and being a violin novice. Throughout my academic career I obtained my bachelors in Psychology from Florida A& M University & my Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health counseling from Capella University. Early in my professional career, I worked with women suffering from co-occurring disorders. Throughout this time I overcame so many obstacles in my personal life & professional life, while continuing to cultivate my expertise and walk within my purpose. I have a strong spiritual calling that drives me forward and helps me attain everything that I visualize; and a part of my mission is to help others do the same, I am a dedicated real estate agent who brings a fresh perspective to the industry-Having a strong background working in a law firm where I assist veterans in securing their benefits and navigating their claims. Through my experience in this field I have honed my skills in client advocacy, attention to detail, and navigating complex processes.
I am driven by my passion for helping others achieve their goals and my commitment to providing exceptional service. My legal & psychology background equips me with a unique understanding of the intricacies involved in real estate transactions, ensuring that my clients receive thorough and knowledgeable guidance.
With a compassionate approach and a dedication to excellence; my ability to connect with people is one aspect of myself that I am extremely proud of.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I experienced many struggles a long the way; such as navigating through information & processes that are not readily available & has some gatekeeping- such as certain business literacies. I also faced struggles in my personal life when my eldest sister passed away during a pivotal moment in my career. I still had to build myself up while I faced so much grief and lack of understanding.
As you know, we’re big fans of En’Drea McCluskey. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am a realtor who specializes in helping veterans while also helping anyone invest, buy or sell real estate. I am also someone who wears many hats- I speak on various platforms about mental wealth and how individuals can transform their lives through the way that they think & I am a creator who is heavily into fashion; I make my own textiles through crochet & knitting. What sets me apart from others is that I march to the beat of my own drum. I do not let obstacles or societal norms hold me back from making my impact on the world. I am most proud of the fact that my brand is specialized however, many different people can benefit from the knowledge that I share and the services that I offer. I do not look at my clients as just another number but as unique individuals, with unique interest and goals. This requires specialized care that is uniquely centered around the people that I work with,
What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is that people have the opportunity to live their lives authentically. This is important to me because this is how I chose to live my life and I truly think that a lot of our societal issues can be alleviated through the power of know how.
