Meet TC Remix

Today we’d like to introduce you to TC Remix

Hi TC Remix, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my journey back in 2014, just messing around with decks and learning the ropes like any other aspiring DJ. At first, it was just about having fun, playing music I loved and seeing where it could take me. Buffalo became my training ground and it’s where I really honed my skills, played at different types of venues and learned how to read a crowd, mix across genres and create moments people wouldn’t forget.

After years of grinding, I knew it was time to take things to the next level, so I made my way back to NYC. That’s when things really started to click. I landed performance opportunities at some of the city’s biggest venues, played alongside some incredible artists and got to bring my own style to the nightlife scene. The energy in NYC is unmatched and I thrive on keeping people on their toes, whether it’s flipping a track they didn’t see coming, blending genres in a way that just work or building sets in real-time based on the room’s vibe.

Now, I’m not just playing in NYC and I’m expanding across the mid-Atlantic and beyond. No matter where I go, my goal is always the same: to create an experience that sticks with people long after the night is over. The journey’s still evolving, and I’m just getting started.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has definitely not been a smooth road but I think that’s what makes the journey worthwhile. Coming back to NYC was a reality check. The scene here is stacked with talent and breaking in wasn’t easy. Gigs were limited and I had to create my own opportunities through networking, proving myself and making sure I stood out. There were plenty of nights where I questioned if I was making the right move but I kept pushing, refining my craft and finding ways to get my foot in the door.

Then, just as things started picking up, the pandemic hit and shut everything down. Overnight, gigs disappeared, venues closed and the entire industry went on pause. But instead of waiting it out, I pivoted. I used that time to build my online presence, connect with people digitally and develop a brand that would support my in-person work once things reopened. When the world finally came back, I wasn’t starting from scratch and I had a stronger foundation to launch from.

It’s been a grind, no doubt. But every struggle just pushed me to be better, more adaptable and more intentional with my craft. Looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a DJ, producer, performer and curator of high-energy experiences that bring people together. My signature blend of open-format EDM is all about creating a dynamic, unpredictable journey that keeps the crowd locked in from start to finish. Whether it’s flipping a classic in a way no one expects or seamlessly weaving between genres, my sets are built for connection – music that people can sing their hearts out to, dance with their friends to and fully lose themselves in. That’s what I do best, taking any room, any crowd and making it feel something.

Beyond the decks, I’m also the leader of Trigger Collective, an organization dedicated to giving back to the community through music. It’s more than just throwing shows – it’s about creating spaces where people can experience something real, whether it’s through the energy of the night, the artists we spotlight or the memories we help people make. Seeing that impact, knowing that what we do resonates with people beyond the music – that’s something I’m incredibly proud of.

What sets me apart? It’s not just about playing music – it’s about reading the room, shaping the moment and delivering something unforgettable. Every set, every event and every opportunity is a chance to push the boundaries and make a lasting impression. And that’s exactly what I plan to keep doing.

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is connection – the way music brings people together, creates memories and leaves a lasting impact. At the end of the day, it’s not just about playing a great set or throwing a successful event; it’s about the energy in the room, the way people lose themselves in the moment and the bonds that are formed through shared experiences.

Music has the power to break barriers, unite strangers and turn a regular night into something unforgettable. That’s why I do what I do. Whether it’s through my sets or through Trigger Collective, my goal is always to create spaces where people can feel something real, be fully present and walk away with a moment they’ll remember long after the music stops. That’s what drives me -building those experiences, fostering that community, and making every night one to remember.
