Hi Christina, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started decorating cookies back in 2025 for friends and family. I quickly realized there was potential for a business opportunity and as a single mother, working from home allowed me to still be a mom and just stay up late at night to get my work done. I’ve been doing this now for over 5 years and I never would have thought my little business would grow to what it is now! I am forever grateful to everyone who has made this business what it is today!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has NOT always been a smooth road! When I first started I had no money at all to invest so I just worked with what I had until I could afford more. I’ve had ovens burn up on me- I fell asleep with them in the oven while trying to finish a large order tired from working my full time job. I have had to cancel a few orders due to personal reasons. I have given up so many times all together on it! But I’ve always come back to it. I’ve always pushed through and I’m so glad I have!
As you know, we’re big fans of Custom Cookies 365. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I specialize in delicious decorated sugar cookies. Any event or occasion is appropriate for sweet sugar cookies! A tasty piece of artwork that is customized to each person’s liking! Our favorite is the custom logo business card cookies. We use edible ink and paper to print exact logos or photos and using icing to adhear them to the top of a cookie. It’s like having your own edible business card to pass out!
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Discipline! Motivation comes and goes. There will be times when you don’t want to or simply can’t, but the show must go on, so discipline and hope are very important!
