Today we’d like to introduce you to Dieudonne Thomas-wilson
Hi Dieudonne, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
In the early 2000s, I started planning events for my family and friends. Then, I planned my first wedding in 2004. It was so exhilarating! From that time, I started planning weddings and events part time. I transitioned into a full time wedding planner in 2010 and I’ve have planned well over 300 weddings and events since that time.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not always been a smooth road. The wedding and event industry is pretty saturated. You have to set yourself apart. So, some of the challenges along the way were finding my niche couples and/or clients. I had to learn how to market, attract and retain the type of clients I want to work with. Of course there were other factors like the economy, recession and the pandemic. Navigating those unforeseen circumstances had its challenges, however, it taught me how to pivot in business.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a certified wedding and event planner based in Orlando, Florida. Along with my team of wedding planners we work with busy professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives and A listers who have an appreciation for custom-curated weddings and celebrations. Being in the wedding and events industry we noticed our clients struggling to find a balance between their careers and life, so they rely on our expertise to help them plan and execute their celebrations. Whether a dinner for two or a grand affair, our aim is for a beautiful wedding or event day but not neglecting the service experiences leading up to it.
We are known for planning modern chic celebrations in Orlando and luxury destinations. The Immaculate Events team is intentional about combining luxury service with magical moments. With meticulous attention to detail, we implement elegance and timeless style in every aesthetic of our events. We want our clients and their guests to leave a wedding or event feeling like my team and I have gone a step beyond the ordinary.

I love collaborating with other creatives. I’m a believer of collaboration over competition. Call me old school, but I like to get to know who I’m working with, their process and ethics.
