Earth Girl Products’ mission began when Melissa Wenhold, our founder, searched for chemical-free beauty products for a friend’s baby shower. Alarmed by the numerous unpronounceable and toxic ingredients in common products, she started a journey to create the purest natural bath and body products.
We proudly handcraft our entire collection using only organic ingredients and essential oils. We firmly say “no” to chemical preservatives, parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, and animal testing. Our ingredients are locally-sourced where possible, and our products are created in small batches to ensure freshness and quality. We also prioritize sustainability with recyclable and/or recycled packaging.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey hasn’t been without its bumps. Starting a small business is a feat in itself, but add in the joys and chaos of raising a family, managing another business, and navigating global curveballs like COVID, and it’s clear we’ve faced our fair share of hurdles. Yet, these challenges have been catalysts for positive change, growth, and refining our brand. And that’s something to celebrate!
