Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Roberts
Hi Lauren, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey into self love and healing began from a deep personal need. For years, I searched outside of myself for validation, love, and fulfillment, only to realize that everything I was seeking had to come from within. My own healing path led me to explore Reiki, sound healing, and embodiment practices, and as I experienced profound transformation, I knew I was being called to guide others on this path.
In 2019, I founded Rise Up Live Bright to help women cultivate radical self-awareness, deep commitment to themselves, and profound self-compassion. Over the years, I’ve expanded my work through certifications in Reiki, sound healing, and energy work, allowing me to support my clients in releasing emotional weight, embracing their inner healer, and reconnecting with their divine essence.
Today, my mission is clear: to empower women to embrace self-love as a sacred, spiritual experience, one that transforms the way they show up in the world.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all.
it’s been a journey of deep transformation, surrender, and trust. While I’ve always felt a calling toward healing and self love work, the path to fully stepping into it was anything but smooth.
One of the biggest struggles was overcoming my own self-doubt and fear of being seen. For a long time, I played small, questioning whether I was truly “ready” to guide others. I had to do the inner work of releasing old stories, embracing my worth, and trusting that my experiences and gifts were meant to be shared.
Building Rise Up Live Bright also came with its challenges, learning how to balance my passion for healing with the realities of running a business, navigating financial uncertainty, and finding my unique voice in a space that can sometimes feel overwhelming. But every challenge has been an invitation to deepen my self-trust, align with my purpose, and cultivate a business that feels sustainable and nourishing.
Through it all, I’ve learned that self love isn’t just about the beautiful moments, it’s about showing up for yourself even when things feel uncertain, messy, or uncomfortable. Every struggle has ultimately been a lesson in resilience, faith, and alignment, shaping me into the space holder, coach, and guide I am today.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I guide women on a journey of deep self-love, helping them reconnect with their divine essence and inner power. Through my work as a self-love coach and healer, I specialize in transformative energy healing, sound therapy, and embodiment practices that support emotional release, nervous system regulation, and profound self-discovery.
I’m known for creating safe, sacred spaces where women can be vulnerable, let go of limiting identities, and fully step into their worth. My self-love programs provide a foundational toolkit that empowers women to heal, embody confidence, and live in alignment with their true selves. I also offer personalized Reiki and sound healing sessions, as well as my I AM SACRED workshop, which helps women release the narratives that keep them small.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the deep transformation my clients experience—not just surface-level shifts, but true, lasting change in the way they see themselves and move through the world.
“After one session with Lauren, I felt like a weight had been lifted off my heart. She created a space where I could fully release and reconnect with myself in a way I didn’t even know I needed.”
Seeing women reclaim their self-worth, set healthy boundaries, and move through life with more joy and confidence is what fuels my work.
What sets me apart is that I approach self-love as a sacred, spiritual experience~not just a practice, but a way of being. But I also keep it real. I don’t believe in striving for some unrealistic version of perfection. I believe that our imperfections—our raw, messy humanness, are what make us beautiful. My work is rooted in self-co
mpassion and the understanding that healing isn’t about fixing yourself, it’s about embracing yourself fully, exactly as you are. “Lauren reminds you that you don’t have to be perfect to be worthy. She teaches self love in a way that feels real and attainable. Her guidance has completely changed how I show up for myself.”
This isn’t just my work, it’s my soul’s calling. My journey has prepared me to hold space for others in a way that is deeply compassionate and transformative.
“Working with Lauren has been life-changing. She helped me see my patterns of self-doubt and gave me tools to shift them. I now move through life with so much more confidence and self-trust.”
I feel so honored to witness the powerful shifts in the women I work with, and I am deeply grateful to walk this path alongside them.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was a deeply sensitive and intuitive soul with a big heart. I felt things deeply—the emotions of those around me, the energy in a room, the beauty in small, quiet moments. I was the kind of child who loved to dream, create, and connect on a soul level.
Nature was my sanctuary. Some of my happiest memories are of running barefoot on my grandparents’ property, feeling the earth beneath my feet, climbing trees, and losing track of time under the open sky. I always felt free in nature—like I belonged to something greater than myself. That love for movement and adventure followed me as I got older. I found a deep connection to the ocean through surfing, where I learned to surrender to the waves, and skateboarding, where I could feel the thrill of carving my own path. Those experiences shaped me, teaching me resilience, trust, and the beauty of being present.
I’ve also navigated life as a neurodivergent with dyslexia—something that, for a long time, I saw as a struggle. Traditional learning environments weren’t always easy for me, and I often felt different or like I had to work twice as hard. But over time, I came to see my neurodivergence as a gift. It allows me to think outside the box, to see patterns others might miss, and to experience the world in a deeply intuitive way. It’s part of why I connect so deeply with energy work, embodiment, and creative expression—because I feel before I intellectualize. My brain may process things differently, but that difference has given me an incredible ability to tune into people, emotions, and the unseen layers of life.
I’ve always been drawn to the unseen, the magic of life, and the deeper meaning behind things. Whether it was journaling my thoughts, getting lost in books, or simply sitting outside in nature, I felt a strong pull toward reflection and self-discovery from a young age. I was also the friend that people came to when they needed support—I had a natural ability to hold space for others, even before I fully understood what that meant.
But along with that sensitivity came the challenge of feeling too much. I often felt like I didn’t quite fit into the mold of what was expected. I struggled with perfectionism and self-doubt, wanting to be seen yet feeling afraid of taking up too much space. It took me years to realize that my sensitivity was my gift, not something to shrink or hide.
Looking back, I can see how all of these pieces—my deep emotions, my love for nature and movement, my neurodivergence, my ability to hold space for others—were preparing me for the work I do today. My journey to self-love started long before I even knew to call it that. And now, I get to help other women embrace their own uniqueness, honor their emotions, and recognize the power in their sensitivity, just as I learned to do for myself.
