Today we’d like to introduce you to Jhoyneell Manzano
Hi Jhoyneell, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I am a young migrant from Venezuela. I arrived in this country in 2015 with many dreams and goals. My entire family had to start from scratch in this country, where we had to flee from the dictatorship that governs Venezuela. I started with several jobs as a waiter, preparing events at the convention center and stadiums, as extra jobs, while my main job was plumbing, which I have dedicated myself to ever since. Where I have specialized by taking courses for my training and preparation in the area. Currently, I am the owner of the company SAILORS CONTRACTORS DEVELOPMENT, where we develop restoration, remodeling, and new construction projects, both residential and commercial. This is a summary of my 10 years in this wonderful country. Let me know if you need any other type of information.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was not easy, since I had to emigrate from my country Venezuela, start from scratch, it is not easy, where you do not have friends or acquaintances, the language was something that I did not have to fight, but I did have to fight with abusive, racist people who tried to make the path difficult for me, but my perseverance and my desire to succeed in this country were stronger than any impediment from any person, where I remain determined and determined to succeed for my family and for myself.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I have been dedicated to plumbing since my beginnings. I have become known for my responsibility, ability to solve problems in my field, and my excellent training in the area, always with a very good aptitude and attitude, where I have become famous for helping without asking for anything in return, where I have helped many people who at some point in my life were my employees to become independent contractors, pushing them to emerge and grow just as I have been doing.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Honesty, responsibility, a sense of belonging to what I do, and most importantly, being able to support my family and help my parents and the rest of my family inside and outside the country.
