Today we’d like to introduce you to Trevor Bell
Hi Trevor, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I entered the financial industry at 19, graduating from Lake Howell High School in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. While this was a challenging time, online schooling provided me with newfound flexibility, allowing me to focus on advancing my education. I quickly earned my 2-15 license, enabling me to assist individuals with insurance-based solutions.
My journey at Security Financial Management began as a job shadow, which led to an internship, then a client service role, and ultimately to my current position as a Financial Planning Specialist and Licensed Wealth Advisor—all while completing my full-time studies at UCF.
I’m passionate about educating individuals on financial planning, investment strategies, risk management, and the proper structuring of investments
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been anything but a smooth road. During my final semester at UCF, I balanced a demanding schedule—attending classes from 3 PM to 9 PM while working at the firm from 7 AM to 2 PM. Though it was never a requirement, I felt a deep commitment to being in the office. I knew that immersing myself in the environment and learning directly from experienced professionals would be invaluable to my growth. The opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge from some of the best in the industry was something I was never willing to pass up.
This journey was both challenging and incredibly rewarding. The long hours and rigorous workload only reinforced my passion for this field. Every day, I wake up excited to step into the office—not just because I love what I do, but because I get to collaborate with individuals who are not only experts in finance but also eager to teach and mentor. The ever-evolving nature of this industry keeps me engaged, and I’m grateful to be surrounded by professionals who push me to continuously learn and grow.

As a Wealth Advisor, I specialize in comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and risk mitigation strategies tailored to individuals and families. My practice is built on a foundation of trust, education, and long-term financial discipline. I focus on helping clients navigate the complexities of wealth accumulation, retirement planning, and risk management while ensuring their financial strategies align with their long-term goals.
What sets our firm and me apart is our emphasis on education and clarity. I believe financial literacy is key to making informed decisions, so I prioritize breaking down complex financial concepts into clear, actionable strategies. Clients appreciate my ability to simplify the financial planning process while providing tailored solutions that adapt to their evolving needs.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the impact I have on my clients’ financial confidence. Seeing them gain control over their financial future, making informed investment decisions, and building lasting financial security is what drives me. My approach isn’t just about managing assets, but about guiding clients through every stage of their financial journey, ensuring they have the knowledge and structure needed to achieve long-term success.
What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is trust. Not just trust in financial decisions, but trust in me as a person. My role as a wealth advisor goes far beyond managing investments—I strive to be someone my clients can rely on for guidance in all aspects of life. Whether they need advice about their children, a listening ear during a tough time, or just someone to share their vacation plans with, I want them to feel comfortable reaching out, knowing I genuinely care.
The greatest fulfillment in my career comes from the relationships I build. Nothing makes me happier than when a client calls just to catch up, share how their week is going, or invite me to a community event—not because of business, but because they see me as a friend. To me, success isn’t just measured by financial growth, but by the depth of the relationships I’ve built. Trust is the foundation of everything I do, and it’s what drives me to be the best advisor, mentor, and friend I can be.
