Today we’d like to introduce you to Deise Alves Silva
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I suffered some traumas in my childhood and went through physical and emotional abuse! I felt loved by my father but not by my mother! I grew up with some conflicts that screamed inside me! I went through three marriages and then in the third I met Jesus, when I was almost losing my third husband! It was the beginning of my journey of self-knowledge and healing! When I arrived here in the USA in June 2019, I had an identity crisis! In Brazil, as an accounting businesswoman with 2 offices in two different cities, I stood out in the profession. I had a postgraduate degree in Expertise and Auditing for 16 years, developing my career successfully, but I still needed more about my emotional development. It was then that I dedicated myself to studying emotions and today, completing my postgraduate degree in Neuroscience, Trauma and Mental Health, that I started working as a Mentor and have been developing people and professionals who need self-knowledge! My children are now emotionally healthy! They no longer live with emotionally toxic parents! They have a life free of beliefs that could hinder their potential! and I also apply these tools with my clients! For 4 years I have been working as a Mentor and Coach and I take them from one emotional state to another! Literally from scarcity to abundance! As an accountant for several years I can also bring restoration in beliefs about money and I talk about prosperity in a healthy way! This is a little of my work
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It was never easy! Because I am intense in everything! But the biggest challenge today was not having believed in myself before! When I understood that I was the only one responsible for the love I expected from others, my life changed.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I stand out because for 14 years I have been opening my home to welcome people to the Table and this has given me a lot of expertise in behavioral profiling and personal counseling through practice in addition to studies in the area! So today, with 15 minutes of talking to a person, I can identify several traumas and potential points! Which accelerates personal and professional development in my work.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Yes! I left a successful host in Brazil to start from scratch in a country where I don’t speak the language! I believe that was my biggest challenge.
