Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Cador.
Hi Danielle, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve always wanted to start and own my business. For a few years, I thought I would start a business in Interior Design. And, I’ve always had a creative spirit in me. I like to paint and make scrapbooks. When I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior in 2009, I started to feel that creative spirit move a bit more. I found myself making more scrapbooks, picture frames and more. The name of my business was to be called DC’s Creations. It was a play on my name. By 2012, there was a shift, I was beginning to make prayer boxes, painting words and canvases of encouragement and Blessing jars. I was also becoming more serious in my relationship with God. I remember asking Him for His heart, and He showed me His heart for women. That’s great! A women’s ministry reminding them how much God loves them showcased by my crafts. This went on for another five years. Then, in 2017, God truly showed what my ministry was to be about. You see, I was raped by my ex-boyfriend in 2007. It was such a traumatizing experience that I suppressed it.
At least, to the best of my ability. March of 2017, while in my prayer closet, God revealed the pain to me. I remember God telling me that I needed to forgive my ex-boyfriend because I was allowing the trauma to become who I am. I was allowing the enemy to keep the bondage of shame, regret, grief, embarrassment and hurt around my neck. A weight I’d been carrying around for ten years was weighing me down, and I didn’t know it. God told me to release the stronghold by stating that I forgave my ex-boyfriend for raping me. I did that. But, that was just the beginning. The women’s ministry now became DNC Ministries, LLC which stands for Daughter in Christ, Disciple in Christ, and is also a play on my name. God showed me that there is a niche, women who have been raped, sexually assaulted, molested, etc., but are to ashamed, hurt, embarrassed to share with someone for fear of being judged. The trust factor has been broken.
DNC Ministries, LLC is a safe space and place for women to share their story. Being silent doesn’t help. The enemy prefers that we stay silent. The enemy prefers that we put bandages over our wounds instead of receiving the complete healing that only comes from Jesus. Healing begins when we acknowledge what happened and take it to God. Then, we speak about it. This is the part that is the most difficult to talk about the offense. We try to let go of the memory. Talking about it keeps bringing it back. But, we need to let the enemy know that what he tried to use for harm, God turned it for good. I am still learning this. The first time I spoke about it in public was at my first seminar June 2019. I remember crying while I was sharing my story, but crying also means healing. Strongholds were broken that day. Quite a few women shared their story and were beginning to feel the weight being lifted from their shoulders. I’ve spoken on a few women’s panels and shared my story. I even wrote a book about it, “The Butterfly Effect: Healing is a Journey.” And, by writing the book, I started my own publishing company, Monarch Butterfly Publishing, LLC. The book was published July 2020 and is available wherever books are sold. I also have a podcast, The Butterfly Effect. This is not the story I would’ve imagined, but I am thankful for it. I have the opportunity to help so many women who are in pain, and reminding them how God sees them, loved, adored, chosen, His. I know this is just the beginning, so I am excited to see what all God has in store for DNC Ministries, LLC and more.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It is a tough road. At times, I am still embarrassed to share my story, but I have to remember that it’s not about me, it’s about the young woman down the street who needs to know the goodness of God. Some of the struggles are, who wants to listen to me, how can I get the ministry more visibility, how to financially cover everything.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about DNC Ministries?
DNC Ministries, LLC is a women’s ministry that focuses on assisting women who have been raped, sexually assaulted, molested, etc. To find wholeness in God and remind them how He sees them, not how the world sees them. I am a public speaker/Life Coach/Mentor. My ministry stands on 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! This is a constant reminder that I stand on. That every woman should stand on. A butterfly represents this, as well. We’re like a caterpillar crawling to make her chrysalis. While in there, God removes everything that’s not of Him. It’s painful but so necessary. This is where the healing takes place. We will eventually become butterflies, still, a lot to learn, but more willing to depend on God. The butterfly will be seen a lot in my logos, clothing, artwork and more. I offer speaking engagements/seminars/conferences and help with publishing books. Particularly those who need to share their story of healing from being sexually assaulted.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Happy is more for the moment. I choose to walk in joy because God is my joy. Being able to share my story brings me joy! Being able to walk with a woman and watch her grow in her journey with the Lord brings me joy!

Not that this article does not speak for itself as to who Danielle is but I can tell you firsthand she is one of the most caring and ready at the go to share her love of Hod and his grace and mercy woman that I know!
Glad to know her reach continues to impact just more than myself, my family and all the friends that I’ve shared Danielle’s artwork, walking billboard attire and book with.
Take a look at any of her media sites including a podcast that remains as fresh as her inspirational ways
