Hi Jess, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have been doing photography now for almost 10 years. I was first introduced by my father when he had first purchased his camera and would let me borrow it. Fast forward a few years to high school, I was able to gain more in-depth and hands-on experience with photography taking a yearbook/photography course. I actually fell more in love with photography through this course and would always borrow the camera to continue practicing taking pictures. I then purchased my very own camera right after graduating and continued doing what I did best behind the lens. I was always the one at family gatherings, weddings or events taking pictures of others and always received praise for my beautiful work. I found that the one thing that I absolutely love is Love itself as it is such a beautiful thing to capture. Towards the end of 2021, I decided that I wanted to pursue photography more seriously and started coming up with a plan for my business. I just started my business earlier this year and am proud of the decision that I have made to pursue my dreams and turning my passion into my career.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been a bumpy start but slowly getting better as my name gets out there! One struggle that I have dealt with is being able to book the number of sessions that I would like to have a month. My business is starting to make some progress as my previous clients are referring others to me for their photography needs.

Royal Palms Photography LLC is a Woman-owned and operated business. Although I just started up my business earlier this year, I do have almost 10 years of experience perfecting my trade. I mainly specialize in Wedding, Elopement, Engagement, and Couples Photography but also do Portrait and Real Estate photography as well. I do try to keep my prices in an affordable range for all of my clients and each package is customizable to their own needs for their wedding day. My goal is to capture the raw and authentic love that is displayed during your wedding as well as the fine details so that you won’t forget a single moment.
