Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Villegas.
Hi Jessica, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m Jessica Villegas, Success Coach and Founder for Hi-Lite Coaching + Consulting. I started Hi-Lite in the fall of 2020 after I lost my leadership role due to the pandemic. I continued building the concept until March of 2021 when I started accepting clients.
As a teen and young adult, I lacked a lot of direction and self-discipline. I didn’t know who I was or what I wanted out of life and was very much in survival mode due to a challenging childhood. After changing my major many times over and earning 365 college credits, I finally graduated with my bachelor’s degree and identified a career direction for myself.
After years in the corporate world building teams, developing leaders, and designing processes for departments in hospitality and supply chain logistics, I continued to witness what I went through in my peers and employees. I realized I wasn’t alone in what I experienced and wanted to find a way to help others feel successful, in control, and happy in their lives. I became an ICF-certified Academic Life Coach so I could combine that with my experience and skills.
I have since built a program that combines powerful coaching techniques with Kaizen methodologies to create scalable systems of success for teens, young adults, and young professionals. I help my clients become more resilient, self-sufficient problem solvers, who can break down their overwhelming goals into achievable action steps. The world grows more and more complex and overwhelming every day and having the skills to navigate successfully is crucial now more than ever.
It’s important to understand that what we do isn’t just coaching. We create scalable skills that last a lifetime while providing tailored, comprehensive support to our clients all the way through their transformation with our on-call program concept.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road to where I am now has not been easy, but I am fortunate to have the skills, experience, and passion to see this through. I feel so blessed to have aligned with my life’s purpose of helping others to find theirs.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Hi-Lite Coaching + Consulting provides success coaching for teens, young adults, and young professionals. We are known for our “Empower, Transform, Achieve” (ETA) program.
This program combines powerful coaching concepts with process improvement methodologies and leadership principles yielding more resilient, focused, and confident young people. Our program graduates have a clearer focus of what they want in their lives, they know how to set goals and how to achieve them.
They have greater self and awareness; they know their values and are clear on their life’s vision and mission. We offer a variety of services that support young people including private coaching, teen cohorts, workshops, and business services.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
For me, success is defined as a feeling of happiness, confident accomplishment, and excitement for the future on a daily basis.
