Hi Alecia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Orlando is a developing city and has progressed so much in the past few years. After getting frustrated with the quality of hookah offered in the Orlando area, I wanted to offer Orlando a premium, quality hookah that was clean, wouldn’t leave you feeling bad, and long-lasting so I decided to start Aura Hookah, a mobile hookah catering service that offers hookah to clubs, bars, parties, hostings, and all private events. I am proud to be able to offer customers a high-quality hookah smoking experience, and hearing the feedback from satisfied customers about the quality of hookah as well as our professionalism keeps me going and fuels my ambition to take Aura Hookah to the next level.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
There has been quite a few obstacles out of my control starting with Aura Hookah being established at the end of 2019, then the COVID pandemic starting 3 months later in 2020, and all businesses were closed, especially the main locations we offered hookah at downtown. Once Aura Hookah started back after businesses re-opened and we were having many successful events, I was faced with another obstacle out of my control, 2 close family deaths. Although we are still not fully “back to normal” in this pandemic, Aura Hookah strives to be Orlando’s #1 hookah catering service even when the road is not always smooth.

Aura Hookah is a mobile hookah catering service. We offer hookah services to all bars, clubs, events, private parties, weddings, birthdays, and beyond.
We specialize in mobile hookah; we bring EVERYTHING needed for a guest to have an enjoyable hookah smoking session. Pre-covid, we took pride in the smoking safety of our customers-hookahs being properly disinfected and offering a new, disposable hose with each hookah. We use natural charcoals instead of “quick light” coals which can leave you with an instant headache. We want to create the most enjoyable hookah session for our customers. What sets us apart from others would be the PREMIUM hookah-each bowl is carefully packed instead of thrown quickly together in the matter of seconds which is very common at clubs being that it’s a fast pace environment. We guarantee a satisfied smoke each time. Clean hookah, natural coals, disposable hoses, carefully packed shisha bowl, and professionalism is what makes Aura Hookah different from the others.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
My advice for those starting out is START! Don’t stop believing in your vision even if you feel like no one else sees that vision. Don’t stop, stay consistent, don’t be discouraged even when it gets hard or you’re concerned about competition, because one day you will see why it was all worth it!
