Meet Pastor Natalie Young of Central Florida

Today we’d like to introduce you to Pastor Natalie Young.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
It was about five years ago when I felt the push to write. Over time, I have loved to inspire others with words of encouragement in speech, writing and in what I do. It brings me great joy to challenge and motivate others in life as they take moments with me. As I pondered on the fact that life is just passing us by and we must pause and take in the moments every day that we have been given. This is where Letstakeamoment.com begun. I believe it is important that we take nothing for granted.

I can remember writing my first blogpost and wondered would I have those who would read and comment? I not only have had readers, but followers and those who leave great comments after reading my blogs. This has only propelled me to continue on and do even more. I have not only grown in my writing but in my outreach and impact. I have connected with other writers and organizations and have had interviews including: (Weird & Liberated: Creative Corner; Four Columns of a Balanced Life), guest posts (MCWEN), Lifestyle Teagal article: RUNNING MY FIRST HALF MARATHON collaborations and have been invited to write a book review blog too (“Start Where You Are” by Rashawn Copeland). I am really excited about my writing journey and continue to be inspired to encourage as many as I can in creating my content. I am looking forward to doing so much more.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Honestly, it has not always been easy to gain a greater audience of readers. It takes a lot of time and work to be on social media to promote and engage with others in the writing community. Also, something that I am constantly trying to become better with is my time management when it comes to my writing. I have a full schedule outside of my writing. It was during the beginning of the pandemic when I became even more determined to increase my writing and it has completely flourished. I look forward to doing even more this year which would include continued growth in my audience in readership and constant engagement on my blog and on social media.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Writing encouragement is a true passion that has propelled me to work on a book project in the future. Currently, I have a book I have been working on and would love to one day have it published. I honestly believe there will be more than one book in the future. Again, I know that I will have to push through managing my time well to get it done.

I also want to make sure that I mention that I co-pastor alongside my husband in Resplendency where we bring encouragement to our local Central Florida community and are reaching homes worldwide virtually.
