We’re looking forward to introducing you to Chaya Leynn. Check out our conversation below.
Good morning Chaya, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
I’d have to say self confidence. I was so scared to put my on platforms because I didn’t want to be seen. I had a fear of being misunderstood. Now it doesn’t matter. Everyone is not going to agree, understand or relate to me. That doesn’t mean I need hide who I am .
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Chaya Lynn. I’m an influencer, entrepreneur, and brand ambassador who doesn’t fit into just one category (and I like it that way). I’ve built my platform around sharing relatable, real-life content—the kind that makes people feel seen, inspired, and a little less alone.
I don’t believe in sticking to a niche. I believe in showing up as myself—creative, honest, a little chaotic, and always evolving. Whether it’s through storytelling, visuals, humor, or heart, I use my voice and platform to connect with people on a deeper level and to work with brands that value authenticity just as much as I do.
Right now, I’m focused on growing my personal brand, partnering with companies that align with my energy, and continuing to create content that feels real. No filters on life—just creativity, connection, and a little bit of chaos.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that has served its purpose and needs to be released is the fear of recognition—of being seen, and then misunderstood. For a long time, I held back parts of myself out of fear that people wouldn’t “get” me or that being visible meant being vulnerable in ways I wasn’t ready for. But I’ve outgrown that. I’m ready to be fully seen for who I am, without shrinking, second-guessing, or explaining myself. That fear protected me once, but now it only limits me—and I’m done letting it.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, there was a time I almost gave up. When I first started posting, I wasn’t truly comfortable with the clothes I was wearing, the collabs I was saying yes to, or even the version of myself I was putting out there. The recognition I got was based on an image that didn’t feel aligned with who I really am or what I wanted to be known for. It felt empty. Like I was being seen, but not truly seen. That disconnect almost made me walk away from it all—but instead, I chose to shift. I started creating from a more honest place, and slowly, things began to change. Now, I’m building something that actually feels like me. You can always rebrand, and that’s exactly what I did.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes—the public version of me is 100% real. I’m just as bold, outspoken, and unfiltered in real life as I am in my content. Everything I post comes from something I’ve felt, experienced, or lived through at some point. It’s all real. But at the same time, I believe in keeping some things for myself. My personal life is still personal—not everything belongs on social media, and I’m okay with that. Being authentic doesn’t mean being exposed; it just means being true.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people say that I was comfortable being exactly who I am. That I didn’t water myself down, try to fit in, or follow the crowd. That I lived boldly, honestly, and unapologetically—and by doing that, I gave others permission to do the same.
