Today we’d like to introduce you to Adriana Fernandez.
Adriana, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Owner of Bluemoons Beauty. As long as I remember, I’ve always worked in sales in the call center environment. While I was great at what I did and was able to achieve all my goals is was not my passion. When I would think of my career, I wanted to wake up every morning excited for work. When the pandemic hit, I was furloughed and decided to take this opportunity and take a chance on myself.
I have always been interested in skincare so I did my research and ended up enrolling in school. Going to school during a pandemic while being a single mom was far from easy but man was is worth it. I graduated as a paramedical esthetician in June of 2021. After graduation, I created my at home studio to start taking clients while also starting a mobile business with my close friend and business partner Meliza Rubio. We created a mobile at home spa night company that caters to any celebration from birthdays and anniversary’s to girl’s nights and bachelorettes. During my business ventures, I was blessed enough to meet Jennifer Lara owner of Nava Artistry. I continued growing my company and staying consistent with my work and am so grateful say that today Bluemoons Beauty is now in a storefront location right off OBT and central Florida PKWY. Our storefront location is partnered up with Nava Artistry and Touch Grace Aesthetic to provide the Orlando area with a one stop shop for facials, waxing, teeth whitening, body sculpting, tooth gems and so much more.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Starting a business is not always the easiest but to start a business during a pandemic is a whole other ball game. I’d say some struggles in the beginning were things like not being able to network and meet new people due to all the changes going on.
I think one way I was able to overcome that was by taking advantage of things like social media to spread content of my craft in order to gain client trust and business.

I am a licensed paramedical esthetician. Graduated in the top of my class in June of 2021. My signature facial that I am most known for is an energy healing facial that incorporates healing crystals in the service. Crystal healing is a type of alternative therapy that involves using gemstones to bring balance to an individual’s life and mind. However, I am also certified in body sculpting, Waxing, Tooth gems as well as eyebrow mapping and lamination.
