Hi Alexandria, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, you could tell our readers some of your backstory.
In 2019, when I was furloughed from my job as a performer at Walt Disney World, I got bored! I wanted to do something that wasn’t typically offered. I posted some boards on Facebook, and it blew up! I had to get all my business licenses and a kitchen! Over the past few years, I’ve had some incredible opportunities, from working with some huge companies, starting to cater events with grazing tables, and now opening up a store!
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s been hard to balance my job at Disney after getting called back to work and having employees while using a commercial kitchen. This store is going to be amazing for us!
I appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I love creating! I love hearing from guests about how special it made their trip or Event is. The beauty of creating the grazing tables still surprises me when the product is finished to realize what we are capable of. I’m most proud of taking this step of opening up a store. We are known for being who to call to turn someone’s vacation upside down or make a beautiful spread for any occasion!
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I’m only 23! I started this business when I was 20 and am so grateful for all the opportunities and how much it has grown.
